It is Tuesday again, which as you know by now is my linky post for Life In A Lockdown. You may have noticed that I did not post last week as for various reaons we decided to take a week off.
Have you managed to get out and start enjoying freedom, or are you still staying safe and just going out if you need to? I seem to have been busy, but not done much you can find out below.
If you want to take part in the linky the questions are
1) How are you feeling/coping?
Frustrated at the fact we have still not received C’s draft EHCP for us to view and amend or agree. This means that trying to find a course/college for September is becoming increasingly difficult and we can not move forward without the EHCP in place. On a good note though C has chosen a course she is interested in which is a food course. This totally surprised us but I think it is because she enjoys her art and it relaxes and focuses her, where as if she had to do it daily she may lose her love of it.
I am still struggling with my tooth, I saw my dentist last week and she gave me a new type of antibiotic to try, with strict instructions not to drink any alcohol. They made me so ill and even if I liked a drink daily there was no way I would have considered it. I took myself off them in the end as I felt so ill. I am trying to see if I can get anything else at the moment.
2) What have you been up to over the past 7 days?
I have enjoyed meeting up with friends and having a long awaited catch up. Please we had a lovely Sunday lunch out yesterday which we really enjoyed.
We have been getting bits for the garden and hoping we can set up our fire pit soon and enjoy some toasted marshmallows and keeping warm
3) What is your favourite post of the past 7 days (it could be yours or someone else’s)?
I think it has to be my Diary of a Menopausal Mum post, the feed back I am getting from bringing this series back has been amazing. Plus it is great to share the funny side of it .
4) Do you have any plans for lockdown easing?
We do have a few meetings arranged with family and friends, and a week away in June going around the Lakes with friends as he is doing a cycle ride and we are going for support
5) What have you bought this week that others might like? (Especially if from a small business.)
We had a trip to The Range yesterday, I love that shop and could spend a fortune. We got some lovely lights for the garden which we have been wanting to get for a while
6) What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?
A lovely Sunday lunch out with friends in the sun shine
7) What would you like the future to know about life during a pandemic?
Never take life for granted, be grateful for the little things
8) Anything else you would like to mention?
Keep on going, take one day at a time and we will get through this
Thank you to
