One think all my children, and now grandchildren have loved is their arts and crafts. My daughter has always loved it and her talent now shows why.
It was always a standing joke when she was at primary school, when the kids started coming out at the end of the day with their junk modelling, everyone would wait to see what C came out with. As you knew it would be some huge model that I had to somehow get home without breaking.
Even our recycling was always used as she sat there with her glue, pains and glitter.
I was recently contacted by MFPA to review some of their children’s items, we had great fun with my granddaughter painting and colouring in, before sitting down to a story.

Who are MFPA
The MFPA is a partnership of disabled artists and is run by the artists themselves which was started in 1957 and provides an insight into the artists. With their paintings and examples of their work. The partnership reproduces the artists original paintings as unique greeting cards, calendars and a wide range of other products. With this it brings vital financial security to the artists.
Colouring Books
Three lovely colouring books with different themes offering a lovely range of pictures to paint or colour in.
Painting Palette
A lovely painting palette which includes paints and brushes and a palette to mix paints and water to clean brushes. A lovely way to introduce children to different types of painting.
Dannys Dream
This is such a lovely story of a young boy who dreams of being an Olympic champion. Sadly one day he was involved in an accident and his life change forever. This is such a heartwarming and lovely story to read.
My Opinion
The MFPA offer lovely unique artwork in a variety of ways. They have some great ideas for children, We have had hours of fun with the colouring books and paints. We have always had a love of books in our house, and my children grew up loving books and stories, as do my grandchildren. I loved sitting and reading Dannys Dream with my granddaughter and it is one she loves her Mum to read with her.
My sons used to love their craft activities when they were younger and it was such a good way to get them to sit still for more then 2 minutes

My daughter would have hours of fun with this too. She never lets me put the cardboard out as she always wants to make things with it. I have to do it once in a while in secret haha.
We used to have to do the same, but it is lovely to see their imaginations at work
Mfpa sounds lovely… My neice is obsessed with arts and crafts too. I love the boiled Easter eggs they decorate at school. That’s my fave activity.
