My Week

This week has been a blur really.
C finally got her Botox injections for her migraines last Friday. We now have to try to get her next lot authorised at least while she is waiting to hear from the referrals her Neurologist has made.
We are stepping up the uni shopping with all the last little bits she will need. Although, I really do think that we have got nearly everything. Although I did think of a bottle opener as that is a must for students.
C is worried about Pippy – her first budgie today. She is not well and so I can see a visit to the vets in order. Hopefully she is just having an off day.
The adventures of Biscuit

I decided to do a little feature on Biscuit, as honestly there really is not a dull moment with him around. He has brought so much joy and I have laughed proper laughs for the first time in 18 months since getting him.
Below is just a snippet of each day in the life of a puppy.
- Wednesday – I had to go to the vets again to have a horrible needle put in me. I was big and brave as they gave me treats but this time I felt it and did not want to sit still. On the way home, I was sitting in the back of the car like a big grown up boy all on my own, mum did not think I looked cute when she looked at me sitting next to my car seat.
- Thursday – I have been very happy today, and been playing with my big brother. He did not seem impressed when i tagged along holding his tail. I also met a new friend called Cosmo who let me have his old car seat (I did not like mine) he seemed very happy with the toy and treats I chose for him to say thank you.
- Friday – I decided to help with the gardening and do some weeding, although I was quite upset I kept being told no. So I dug at my other friends (the ants) and played with them until I was taken inside.
- Saturday – I am very itchy, so those humans decided to buy a new shampoo and give me a bath. I can tell you I was not impressed by this at all, but I did get nice snuggles after in a warm blanket
- Sunday – I was very tired today, and decided to have a nice snooze in the afternoon, giving everyone a bit of time to relax. Not for long though as I found a new toy the extendable hose that was hidden in a corner. I thought it should go inside
- Monday – I went for a ride in the car in my new car seat. I thought ok, waited for the car to start and I could get out. I was stuck and had to sit in there the whole journey, I did moan about it for most of the journey. I also found the outside broom and wanted to bring that inside.
- Tuesday – This morning I was abandoned, my human mum went out and left me. C was here to look after me but how dare she go out and leave me for days (well it was less than an hour but felt like days.
Starting University

Like many, C will be heading to university in a matter of weeks. I am not ready to let her go and will worry about her constantly. But I am also so excited for her as well and can not wait to hear all her stories.
I have been preparing with C for when she has to rely on herself. I posted yesterday a variety of pasta meals that are cheap and easy and ideal for students

Sounds like Biscuit had a very busy week.
He has had a very busy week
When my daughter moved out last year I found it very difficult to let go, but she has thrived. I am also very happy to hear that Biscuit brings you joy.
I know C will have the best time, and I am excited for her. Biscuit is such a cutie and keeps me busy
My daughter is about to head into year 10 & I keep thinking that University years are fast approaching! It’s one of the hardest things to let them become more independent – we worry so much!
We do worry and never will stop, but it seems to be a blink and she has grown from a baby to ready for her next chapter

Biscuit writes very well! He is very mischievous. I understand how you feel about C going off to university. You are bound to have mixed feelings, wanting the best for C but you will miss her
Biscuit is very clever with his writing, and never dull with him around. I know C will have an amazing time
It’s so hard to watch them go off on their own into the world. My son has been gone for 8 years in the Army. We’re proud but we do worry.
It is hard to let them go, I can see why you are so proud and worried all at the same time
The continuing adventures of Biscuit are so incredibly entertaining. I love these little stories told from his point of view.
I am glad you like them, I thought it would make things a little more light hearted
