For me comfort is huge, especially when the cooler nights creep in. I love the feeling of comfort whether I am curled up watching the tv in the evening. Or snuggled up in bed, especially listening to the wind and rain outside.

The cool nights seem to arrived so quickly this year! I will have a look at the quilt covers as I like sound of a zip rather than buttons!

We’re getting ready for the colder nights with extra blankets. I would love to also buy a fluffy microfiber; it looks sooo comfy and cozy.

I do like Autumn. I like the idea of a cover less duvet. I will be getting my hot water bottle out shortly. I do love the comfort and warmth of a bottle
C used her electric water bottle last night, I have seen a sausage dog one I may get her for Christmas
Because we’re lucky to have a temperature controlled room we don’t actually use different duvets in the winter vs summer. I don’t know where I’d store them otherwise. I am looking forward to starting to dig out the blankets and snuggly bits soon x
A temperature controlled room does sound great where it is the same no matter the weather. I do love all the snuggly throws etc though
My old duvey actually had a bunch of feathers coming out of it! I really need to refresh my bed before it gets too cold out – feels like Autunm snuck up on me.

I am definitely not ready for fall! I am not a fan of the cooler weather or winter, so the cooler weather makes me feel a bit panicky. These are good tips though for embracing it.
I am not either, luckily I can pick and choose my times for going out for this winter

Exactly my reasonings when looking at them
My home seems to retain heat till end of november.then we notice a chill in the air so we get out the throws and cushions plus check all windows for drafts
Our house does get cold, so now is the time for me to start looking at throws etc

Great guide. Getting the cozy layers and blankets ready makes cooler nights something to actually look forward to.
