Ramblings Of A StressedMum – 12/08/2026

Another week seems to have flown by, and here we are mid week again. This means it is time for my weekly round up post Ramblings Of A StressedMum – 12/08/2026.

Table of Contents

My Week

This Week

This week seems to have flown by, probably as we have a new puppy in the house. Health wise nothing major has happened. C is really struggling with her migraines at the moment, but we have her appointment next week for treatment. Dad is just being Dad and frustrates us having to keep on at him all the time.

Biscuit week 2

Biscuit is now 9 weeks old and has found his feet. Honestly, He still can not go out yet on walks but we have taken him out to a dog friendly cafe and he loves his little trips out. He seems to go from 100mph to 0mph but is so funny apart from when he thinks my toes are toys. We have only fallen out once which was yesterday which you may have seen on Instagram.

Cars

Not mine this time, my Mum decided she did not want there car anymore so I sold it for them. Now she wants another one so I have been busy looking for something new for them.

Solar Eclipse

With all the talk of the solar eclipse that is today, I have been fondly recalling back to 1999. I remember it so vividly, I had half a day off work as met up with my husband in the afternoon. Also how everything changed at that moment the quietness and the stillness in the air. Who else can remember the last one?

What I Am Loving

Sakuraco box

Since C was little she has always had a fascination for anything Japanese. The Sakuraco box is great for anyone with a curiosity or loves trying new things. The Sakuraco box offers a refined twist: artisanal snacks, regional teas, and even collectible Japanese tableware — it feels like receiving a gift from Japan itself.
