Electrolyte Drinks Have Never Tasted So Good

We all know the importance of staying hydrated. Especially with our current climate, but through out the year as well. Electrolyte drinks are away to help keep you hydrated as with water you can wash away those all important parts we need to keep to help us keep hydrated, Now electrolyte drinks have never tasted so good.

nonni

Let me introduce nonni

Nonni is the UK’s first lower salt sparkling electrolyte drink. Rather than the sports drinks nonni has been created for everyday hydration. With low sugar and under 20 calories and the best bit for me no artificial sweeteners.

No matter what you are doing, whether it is

  • Juggling work and family life
  • Long days out
  • Trying to stay hydrated

You will find nonni, gives you the hydration boost you need.

Why Are Electrolytes Good For You?

Electrolytes are essential minerals that carry an electric charge. They regulate fluid balance and support nerve signalling and enable muscle contractions, which includes the heart. By replenishing these is crucial for preventing cramps, maintaining energy and optimising hydration during intense exercise, hot weather or illness.

We learnt the importance of electrolyte drinks years ago from C’s consultant. He told her to have one a day. Like wise, at one of my dads recent appointments while going through radiotherapy I mentioned I am making him have a drink each day and they were very happy he was doing this.

Nonni is available in two amazing flavours

The flavours were inspired by food rather than a sports drink, which means nonne is perfect to have with lunch or dinner

My Thoughts

I knew C would love these, as I have yet to find a drink I can say that is ok and can drink. As mentioned she has one a day already. Making her my chief reviewer I asked her to try them. She tried the lemon first and said it was nice and I would probably drink it. So I had a taste and was very pleasantly surprised. She then tried the grapefruit and said it was nice and kept it to drink herself.

  1. I love pomelo grapefruit flavour but am supposed to avoid grapefruit with my tablets for hypertension.

  2. They both sound nice. But probably the grapefruit flavour as that sounds very refreshing.

  3. i would like to try the lemon one the most as i think i prefer the taste of this flavour in a drink than the grapefruit flavour in a drink

  4. Pomelo Grapefruit with kefir lime and black pepper sounds intriguing – I love it when a drink is not too sweet – and this flavour sounds like it could be tangy but with a layered taste rather than a one-note wonder!

    1. sicillian lemon would be a great refreshing drink to keep well hydrated in the sunshine.

  5. I love all things lemon (I’ve just made a lemon drizzle cake) so the lemon would be my choice.

  6. The Pomelo Grapefruit sounds a little different and so refreshing, especially during a heatwave.

  7. There is something particularly refreshing about lemon ,I love the sour yet sweet taste.

  8. They both sound very refreshing as well as good for me but I would choose the Sicilian Lemon as I have to avoid anything grapefruit related because of one of my medications. Hubby however has no such limitations so the grapefruit would be very appealing to him.

  9. Both, but the Pomelo Grapefruit sounds extra delicious. Probably just because it’s more unusual.

  10. Ooh, the Pomelo Grapefruit looks so tasty!

I’ve been reading about electrolytes recently and been meaning to think of an easy way to incorporate them into my hydration routine. These would fit the bill perfectly.
