  3. my favourite thing in the summer was playing camping. we would put the tent up in the garden and get snacks and blankets and pretend we were camping!

  4. My son and I love to play dinosaur hunts in the garden, I hide his toy dinos and he has to find them all

  5. I have fond memories of playing several games with my friends, swinging on the swings in the newly built park opposite my house, we used to sing a song and then jump off at a certain point, how we never got broken bones is beyond me. The other one was long elastics wrapped round me and a friend stood opposite one another, I can’t quite remember what we did but it was fun, I don’t remember what it was called either, I’m sure it’ll come to me, probably at 3am haha.

  6. We used to play war games in the woods & grand national where we would use a tunnel as the fence to jump over

  7. Hoola hoop, skipping, juggling balls against the wall, riding my bike or even just sitting down and making daisy chains.

  8. I loved playing swingball in the garden such hours of fun with such a simple game in the sun

  9. We loved kicking a ball about at the park. Or even just throwing the ball to each other. Great fun.

  10. We spent most summers either at the beach or in the sand pit so probably building sand castles and sculptures.

  11. It looks great fun. I was never an outdoor person, even as a child, and being very prone to sunburn/heat exhaustion doesn’t help.

  12. I was lucky as I lived by the sea and we. Would be on the beach, whatever the weather, swimming, playing ball games and just having fun

  13. Anything outside was great so football, tennis or frisbee were fun in the summer holidays at the big nearby park.
