Another week has flown by which means it is time for my weekly round up post Ramblings Of A StressedMum -09/08/2023. What a week it has been.

Health

You will know that for a few years, we have been struggling with counselling for C. She has struggled with her illness over the years. Plus wanting assessment for Inatentive ADHD which is linked to Fibromyalgia. We finally spoke to a Dr at our surgery, who listened and referred her.

On Monday, she had a phone call and she has her first appointment next Monday.

Trip Away

As you will know we had a few days away. On Friday we stayed in a lovely hotel which had an American diner attached. Sadly I had no room for pancakes which I was looking forward to as a treat. On Saturday, we headed for our Airbnb. Stopping to pick up supplies and deciding to stay in that evening.

Sunday, we visited Royal Leamington Spa, where they had an art in the park and a lovely walk around the town. On Monday, we packed up and headed to Stratford-upon- Avon before heading home. We all had a great time, and so nice for us all to spend some quality time together.

I caused a few laughs, C was talking music with her Dad, and they said about Dubstep. I said I have not heard of that band, to which they both started laughing. On Sunday morning, C asked if I had opened her bedroom door. I said no as we had said about just getting up when we are ready. She said she heard footsteps and then the handle went down and her door opened. This really did scare me, she was fine.

Rest of the week

Today, I am heading out with C to see the Barbie movie. A couple of her friends were going but she could not get there. So I agreed to take her. I only go to Everyman cinemas as they are so comfortable, you can even enjoy a glass of wine while watching the film.

Tomorrow, I am out of the office as off to see my granddaughters with C and my Mum.

Hay-band

hay-band works by applying pressure to the acupressure point on either arm, called the LI-11 point.
