Hope you are enjoying the weather being cooler now. For me it is perfect not too hot and not too cold. We are now mid week of another week that has flown by so quickly. Which means it is now time for my weekly round up post Ramblings Of A StressedMum – 07/08/2024.
We have had a pretty quiet week, but did manage to decorate C’s bedroom. We have been promising to decorate for ages. So C and I popped out last Wednesday and got the paint. Unfortunately, as my husband pointed out we forgot to get the gloss paint. The hard work is done, plus her room has been moved around and is now much more spacious.

Health
I have been at the Drs again this morning, not only for me but also for C. I put a request in for C who is having problems with dizziness, pressure etc. Then, I put a request in for me regarding the tablets I have at night that are not helping and can I just stop taking them. They gave me a telephone appointment, but then wanted to see C this morning with the same Dr. So they put us both face to face following each other.
She thinks C has an inner ear problem, she remembered from years ago me having labyrinthitis. It was awful and said it can be hereditary. I them mentioned my Mum had vertigo a few weeks ago. I had no idea it could be a family thing. C now has medication to take if she needs too. Also booked in for blood tests which she is not happy about.
I have had my medication upped and can up another two times, if I need too.
Christmas
Yes you did read and see that correctly. In July I have been contacted regarding Christmas Gift Guides. So, I have now started my gift guides for 2024. It is so hard to think of Christmas when the sun is shining and the weather so hot. In reality it is nearly here.
Banana Bread
C has been feeling nauseous at the moment, the Dr thinks this is to do with her vertigo. I made my banana bread over the weekend for her. She was able to eat it when she fancied nothing else. She has asked if I can make some more today. It is so quick and easy to make I could not say no to her.

I didn’t realize vertigo was hereditary. I have an aunt who has it and it’s no fun at all.
I didn’t either until the Dr mentioned my problem a few years ago, my Mum also had an attack of vertigo a few weeks ago
I’m really glad to hear there is some progress with C. Having experienced Covid myself, I just know it’s not easy. Wishing her a swift and speedy recovery.

Oh, man, I’m glad to hear there’s at least some forward progress for C. I’ve been battling long COVID since January, and it’s so hard to be sick and uncomfortable all the time.
I am so sorry that you are suffering with long COVID, as you may be aware it is very similar to ME we are 9 years in. My daughter is struggling at the moment with hers

Well done on decorating C’s bedroom. It’s up there with ironing among my most disliked household tasks. I hope that C is pleased with the result.
