When we become parents, we want to do the best for our children. Keeping them happy, safe and healthy. We all do this every single day. After talking to friends and family, one thing we all spoke about was our babies ears. and the importance of protecting our babies ears.

Take time to rest whenever you can. There’s always something that needs to be done, but if you aren’t finding enough time to sleep / relax you will get things done slower and make mistakes more.
Always remember that you’re a role model for your children, so don’t do anything around them that you wouldn’t want them to do or copy themselves.
Be consistent when setting goals, expectations and boundaries.

Have a set routine, important to have structure.
My top tip is you don’t need all the latest baby gadgets. There are so many gadgets and gizmos. It’s a bit overwhelming. Work out what might be best for you and your baby before paying out on a fancy nappy bin that you’re too tired to use.
Absolutely love these! Hearing and loud noises is one of those things that’s often overlooked with babies – I know I did!
Don’t stress too much about milestones. Every child is different and all children learn in their own time.
If you have a child who gets car sick make sure they eat before going in the car and always have a drink in the car.

Do not listen too mcuh to other’s opinions – people will always think things should be done differently to how you are bringing up your child/children but the truth is that you know what is best for them!
My parenting tip would be to not be afraid of potentially harmful things for children, such as their use of electronic devices but, instead, use them the right amount, and in the right manner to help them

To follow your own instincts, and ignore any ‘well meant’ advice that you don’t feel comfortable with.
