Rambling Of A StressedMum – 28/10/2026

Today is Day 28 of Blogtober 2026 and as it is Wednesday it is time for my weekly round up post Rambling Of A StressedMum – 28/10/2026.

My Week

This past week has had a lot of ups and downs. But C is back for the week which is great and Biscuit is loving. Health wise we are all ok. My Dad is having so many hospital appointments again now. Last week his blood test to check his PSA as he is in remission for Prostate cancer. Yesterday was his appointment for his lymphoma and that is ok and under control (we think). Next week it is back to the surgical team for his Mouth cancer. It is none stop.

My Happy Place

Today I go to my happy place and see my grandkids. No matter how low I feel there smiles when they see me is priceless. They should be given out on the NHS as no one will walk away feeling down.

Life In The Week Of Biscuit

Biscuit has had such a busy week. I have laughed so much over these pictures of him.

• Wednesday – That noise woke me up again it is called an alarm, well it is alarming when a noise wakes you up. It turns out mum was taking me to that fun place with lots of dogs. I was not a happy sosij as that wet stuff was coming out the skiy. Mum put a jumper on me and my nice warm coat and we waited for that nice lady to arrive. Then she opened the door and my best sosij friend Cosmo was there and we had the same coat on. We were so excited to see each other. We are very clever sosij’s though, we found a dry area to play all day.
• Thursday – We had a lazy morning, and I thought I was having a nice day inside. No, my mum made me go out in the cold and wet again. I tried to dig in my little paws but she had none of it. So I humoured her and walked her, she obviously needed the walk
• Friday – I looked out the window and thought I am not going out in that. I keep being taken outside though to do my toilet business, I am learning if I just do it I can go straight back in. Then mum put me in the car and I thought she is having a laugh, the wind and the rain was too much for a little sosij. Then the back door opened and I saw C I was so excited and had to tell her about the cruel way mum had been treating me making me go outside.
• Saturday – We went out to a shopping place, I was ok until I saw another sausage in a window who looked just like me. Then we went into somewhere warm and dry. Then my best friend Cosmo appeared with his humans, we were so excited to see each other and we had a puppachino and biscuits while we were there.
• Sunday – Mum needed a break so her and C went out and left me with my grandma. She let me look out the window which was a lot of fun.
• Monday – Everyone went out today as C had something on and left me with Grandad. I had so much fun, he left everywhere open so I explored and found the bathroom and C’s bedroom and I had great fun getting in the bins. Until mum came home and panicked as she could not find me and I was telling her how good I had been up the top of the stairs. Grandad got told off.
• Tuesday – My mum had to go out so me and C had fun – well I did until mum came home and I was so excited. After lunch I had to take mum and C for a walk and there was lots of fun leaves to play with. I had a lazy afternoon after that and then everyone went out in the evening. Instead of putting me in my pen they blocked off the dining room and let me have the whole area to play. When they came home I was so excited to see them upstairs on the landing. They were so impressed with omg how did you get up there and other things. It is my secret a sosij never tells
