What Would My Perfect Day Look Like?

Day 27 of Blogtober 2026 and my topic for today is What Would My Perfect Day Look Like?

My perfect day is far from the days I have at the moment.

Morning

I would wake up a lot later than I do, after a full nights sleep. This is something I have struggled with since my husband died. Then a nice long shower and hair wash, with no interruptions, before heading down for nice breakfast and fresh coffee.

After breakfast, I would then dry my hair and get dressed and would then take Biscuit out for a lovely walk, in the coll crisps autumn sunshine. Once I had tired Biscuit out, we would head home.

Afternoon

I would then head out with C for a nice lunch, where we would chat about anything and everything before heading for a shopping spree. Stopping for a coffee or cocktail along the way to replenish us.

We love our little shopping trips where we visit all our favourite shops. Picking out something new to treat ourselves too. Or trying new fragrances or looking at new skincare products, plus mew pj’s.

Then we would head home arms laiden with our purchases.

Evening

Why spoil a perfect day with coming home and having to cook dinner. Depending on the weather my perfect evening would go one of two ways.

If it was a nice dry evening, C and I would get dressed in our new clothes and head out for a nice meal where we would be served and no cooking or washing up to do.

If the weather was cold and raining. We would get into our new pj’s choose a takeaway and sit and watch a film together. While we are all nice and cosy indoors with the raining lashing down on the windows.

My perfect day, is just simple things that would mean so much. No stress, no upset. Just happy conversations

Obviously my perfect day would be finished by a nice hot chocolate.
