Following on in my Meet The Blogger series, today I am introducing you to Dani who blogs over at The Unseasoned Wag

TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF?
I’m Dani, the plus sized thirtysomething wife of a professional British wrestler.
WHY DID YOU START BLOGGING?
Partly to discuss the contrast between the life of a footballer’s wag & the life of a wrestler’s wag but mostly as an outlet for my passion of writing.
HAS YOUR BLOG CHANGED SINCE YOU FIRST STARTED?
I’ve become less “I AM MARRIED!” & more “I’m a wife but I’m also me”, but I still regularly & unapologetically mention wrestling/my husband/wag life.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FUNNIEST MOMENT SINCE STARTING YOUR BLOG?
Having to edit photos to blur out his face due to his wrestling alter-ego being a masked “heel”!
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR WORST MOMENT SINCE STARTING YOUR BLOG?
The face blurring kerfuffle as above.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO A NEW BLOGGER STARTING OUT?
I’m a newbie myself so I’d rather take advice than give it, but you can never go wrong with writing about what you love.
WHAT SURPRISED YOU ABOUT BLOGGING THAT YOU DID NOT REALISE BEFORE YOU STARTED?
That readers & interactions aren’t handed on a plate like Insta-influencers always look like they do.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME?
Watch TV & promote/discuss/raise awareness on self love, self care, body positivity & mental health.
IF YOU WON THE LOTTERY WHAT WOULD YOU DO FIRST?
Pay off our debts & buy a domain! Yep, a tad different from a typical footballers wives style shopping spree…
WHO IS YOUR BLOGGING HERO AND WHY?
Jelly With The Belly for her honest, down to earth view on life.

Nice to meet you, Dani. Totally agree with you — we can never go wrong with writing about what we love. In fact, it makes things really easier as it comes naturally. 🙂
Writing about what we love is the only thing we can do, as it will show if we write about what we dont love
She is so positive and I felt the same about getting views and readership as opppsed to what most insta-influencers potray
It is lovely to read from someone so positive
What a fun interview. It is always interesting to “meet” other bloggers out there, and learn about their work and inspiration.
Thank you I am glad you enjoyed the post
i love that you are passionate about self-care and self-love. The more people out there sharing the word the better 🙂
Totally agree 🙂
A positive attitude of life is very important. Being a married person, we have more roles than before, but “me” is still one of them.
I agree being married we sometimes forget about us
I like Dani! I like how humble she is. A natural which everyone will love.
I agree when I was reading over her post I felt the same
It was nice getting to know Dani.I love her smile and her pose. Interesting to note that she is a professional wrestler’s wife.
I know and I love wrestling
Hey Dani! Nice meeting you here! I’m not very familiar with British wrestling. I wonder if it is like the WWF “Hulk Hogan” type of wrestling.
