Fine Foods From Across The World

Today, I’m talking about one of my passions – food. Even better, food from across the globe, a mash-up of two of my passions: food and travel. From Switzerland

From the Philippines

Tooty Fruity Banana Chips come from the Philippines. Banana chips are one of my go-to snacks and one of my fellow blogger’s favourite snacks too. Evan’s Crittens recently shared some delicious and healthy snacks, which included the Tooty Fruity Banana Chips. “Banana chips are a favourite of mine and oh-so-healthy (and delicious!). A healthier alternative to potato chips, banana chips are a great on-the-go snack.”

From the Netherlands

Hellema Peanut Cookies are made by Dutch confectionery Hellema. What started in 1861 as a small confectionery bakery in Hallum, has now grown into a 280-people factory that makes delicious cookies, bars and bites. 

Victoria’s Vintage also recommended these biscuits, saying “Even though these peanut cookies will go well with a cup of coffee, I’m sure you can have them with a cuppa. These crunchy biscuits are topped with roasted peanuts, you will love them!”

From Germany 

Schlunder Stollen Pieces with 30% Apple Filling is one of the many delicious pastries that the Schlünder family makes. The company has been running since 1474 and now, after more than 540 years, they continue to have a successful business and export their cakes and bread worldwide.

From France

St Dalfour Mango & Passion Fruit Spread is made in Marmande, a town just south of Bordeaux, France. St Dalfour’s fruit spreads are handmade, carefully cooked and all natural. Suburban Mum believes that “This mango and passion fruit spread has a luscious tropical flavour and a rich texture which will go perfectly with panna cotta, vanilla ice cream and anything coconutty!” And I think so too! Can you imagine this mango and passion-fruit goodness on top of a cheesecake?
