Following on in my Meet The Blogger series, today I am introducing you to Lucy who blogs over at Sunset Desires.

Hi, I’m Lucy. A 27-year-old fashion, travel & lifestyle blogger from the UK.
WHY DID YOU START BLOGGING?
I was a member on the website Lookbook where people uploaded their daily outfits and it was through that that I realised fashion blogs existed. I started mine and uploaded my daily outfits to begin with and it grew from there.
HAS YOUR BLOG CHANGED SINCE YOU FIRST STARTED?
Like I mentioned above I started by uploading daily outfits, this then expanded into other fashion posts. A few years later I added a travel category and now I’ve added more lifestyle posts as I like to write about more subjects I love.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FUNNIEST MOMENT SINCE STARTING YOUR BLOG?
I honestly really can’t think of one.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR WORST MOMENT SINCE STARTING YOUR BLOG?
My worst moment was probably getting my first hate comment. Now I just brush any off I get.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO A NEW BLOGGER STARTING OUT?
Don’t got into this thinking you can make a ton of money straight away. It’s a lot harder work than it looks but it’s tonnes of fun.
WHAT SURPRISED YOU ABOUT BLOGGING THAT YOU DID NOT REALISE BEFORE YOU STARTED?
Just how much money you can actually make from blogging as well as the amount of skills you learn.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME?
Other than blogging, I love reading fiction books, going to the cinema and playing video games.
IF YOU WON THE LOTTERY WHAT WOULD YOU DO FIRST?
Probably pay off my parents mortgage and then buy a house of my own.
WHO IS YOUR BLOGGING HERO AND WHY?
I’d probably say Leanne Lim Walker as she is one of the reasons I knew about blogging in the first place and she still inspires me to this day with her ever-evolving content.

It’s always interesting getting to know someone else in the blogging world… and how they deal with trolls and bad comments too!
I really do not understand trolls but glad everyone is able to ignore them

How lovely that you would pay off your parents mortgage first if you won the lottery. I would start my kids off with a deposit for their first home

I always enjoy reading why people started blogging. My lifestyle blog turned 15 years old this week, blogging has changed tremendously since I started.
I love finding out as well, and congratulations on your 15th anniversary x
It is always nice to read about other bloggers. I would do the exact same thing if I won the lottery, might even though in a Bentley for my dad if there is any spare change lol we can dream!

It was interesting to read Lucy’s responses to the questions. It’s great she can brush off hate comments. I’m overly sensitive, I tend to still get upset when I get them.
I can go either way with comments some I get upset over others I can brush off. I just never see the need to be horrible x
