The way out of this is to be more assertive about what you want. It might sound scary, but it can actually help you feel better overall. The more you make your needs heard, the better off you’ll feel long term.
Meditation is one of the most powerful tools for achieving inner peace, according to science. People who spend time training their minds not to ruminate eliminate the negative self-chat that can lead to anxiety and depression.
Meditation is also convenient. You can do it first thing in the morning or when you go to bed. It doesn’t have to last long either – just a few minutes is usually all you need. It makes a massive difference to your mind.
