Starting To Enjoy Life Again With Wedding Season

The past year has been a year none of us could imagine we would ever go through.  Over night businesses closed, and we were all told to stay home.

With this many celebrations were cancelled, from birthdays, anniversaries, christenings and weddings.  Someone I knew is on her third rebooking of her wedding.

Lockdown has all made us rethink our lives in one way or another, and appreciate those around us.  With that weddings are on the increase. For the bride this means a whole manor of ideas going through their minds as they start to prepare for their big day.

The first thing on any brides mind is the wedding dress, what style, do they want lace, do they want it plain, do they want decoration with pearls and diamontes.

Obviously another huge importance is wedding shoes, finding a pair that is the right height to complement your wedding dress.  Also comfort as well, can you walk comfortably in them, can you be in them all day, or for the important parts of the day.  Will you need another pair for the evening, if so will your dress still be wearable if you go for a lower heel.

You also need to decide on what accessories you want to wear do you want a tiara and/or a veil.  Try some on with your dress to see how they look.  Also have in mind how you want your hair on the day.

You should have an idea on how many bridesmaids you want, and also a colour scheme.  Finding a dress that everyone looks good and feels comfortable in will either be easy or difficult, but not unachievable.

We all have our favourite flowers, which we will want to be included in our wedding flowers, your local florist will be able to sit and talk through your requirements, colour schemes and styles.

Are you planning a wedding? what tips do you have for brides to be currently planning their weddings?

Weddings seem to have grown into huge affairs at a huge cost but I think their is nothing wrong with a simpler affair concentrating on the basics.

I agree I have done the huge white wedding and also the smaller quieter wedding and it was so much more personal
