Ramblings Of A StressedMum – 27/09/2023

It is Wednesday again, we are now back to routine with back to school or college. The weeks are flying by. Grab a cuppa and find out what has been happening in my Ramblings Of A StressedMum – 27/09/2023.

Covid

covid

Last week Covid hit our household. The weekend prior we had been at our friends daughters 21st birthday celebrations. C started feeling unwell, and on Tuesday asked if she could do a test. She did the test and it came up positive straight away, no waiting. I emailed college to let them know.

I messaged my friend with a photo of the test, just to warn her. She came back not you as well. So obviously someone at the party had Covid. C also had heart palpitations, which due to her illness we have had problems with. I spoke to our GP who saw her and put her mind at rest. We also came down with it and I have not slept so much in my life.

Cancelled Trip

We had booked another weekend away to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary, which is today. Sadly we had to cancel due to Covid. So have a night away on Friday to celebrate instead.
