By now you will all know my love of watches. I have had so many watches over the years, all cheap and all not lasting very long. It was not until I met my husband that I found my real love of watches. He has always worn decent watches and believes they make a statement and to buy the best you can afford. Today I have a JORD watch giveaway for you.

You can imagine my reaction when I was asked to review a JORD watch, of course it was yes. I was sent the a watch from the DOVER collection.
On opening the packaging, you are immediately presented with a beautiful wooden box on opening the box you are presented on its very own cushion and a special wood oil to keep your new wooden watch looking as good as the first day you started wearing it.
JORD specialise in using different woods, creating beautiful crafted unique watches from their extensive range of both mens and women’s watches.
With the party season in full swing, this was the perfect time to get my new watch seen. Being the lovely wife that I am, I let my husband use the watch (you will remember I do love wearing a mans watch as well). He was soon getting comments about the watch, everywhere we went someone would comment on it.
What I love about JORD watches is unlike some watches which are just for daily use or special occasions. A JORD watch looks great worn casually or more formal occasions, it really is versatile you can wear it anywhere.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a wooden watch! It is beautiful, and the box is nice, too. You could easily find another use for something like that, as well.

while I have not worn a watch for ages now, I remember the thrill of receiving and wearing my first watch at the grand old age of 12 or 13.. my dad got me a HMT watch (they were the most esteemed watch company in India at that time) and I think I still have it back in India
