How To Create The Perfect Cosy Night In

One thing we can guarantee this Christmas, is that instead of going out for all the party festivities.  We will be sat at home, due to lockdown, especially for us now we are going into Tier 3 tomorrow.

This weekend we were supposed to be heading out to celebrate a friends milestone birthday, plus get together with friends and family to start the Christmas cheer and exchange cards and presents.

As this has all been taken away (for now), I have been looking at how to create the perfect cosy night in.

Obviously, this is the most important part.  Getting the right snacks to kickstart your cosy night in.  The difficult part is what do you go for.

  • Chocolate
  • Nuts
  • Popcorn
  • Crisps
  • Cakes
  • Pizza
  • Nachos

The list is endless.

What to watch

We love to binge watch box sets on Netflix, recently we have watched

  • The Crown
  • How I Met Your Mother
  • Schitt’s Creek

There are so many to choose from, what have you been watching on Netflix lately?

Where to watch?

I love nothing more than to get into a newly made bed, to binge watch tv.  Even better if it is brand new bedding, which we did this weekend with our new Dusk bedding set.

One thing to remember

If you are planning a cosy night in binge watching box sets, above is a top ten list of which snacks are the best in

  • The Crumb Test – How easy is it to make crumbs?
  • The Spill Test – How easy is it to spill this snack?
  • The Wipe-ability Test – How difficult is it to wipe clean?
  • The Stain Test – How effective is a machine wash at cleaning the stain?

You can find the full report here.

Have you had any disasters from having snacks in bed?

Oh this time of year is all about the cosy nights. Once I finish work on Friday, it’s 2 whole weeks of coziness for me.

New bedding is one of my favourite things in the world!

You can’t beat a nice cosy night-in during these cold winter months. I love getting comfy on the sofa with a hot chocolate.

That is my favourite thing to do, and when C is up to it she comes down and snuggles under a fleecy blanket and watches a film with me x
