Today is Blogtober 2025 Day 5. I am going off topic from today prompt. Sunday is a day where we may find ourselves in the kitchen baking. With is why I am sharing my Gluten Free Banana Flapjacks recipe.
As many of you will know C thankfully is gluten intolerant and nothing more after testing over the Summer. This means, although she can eat gluten but it just affects her, we do eat mostly gluten free. One area I have not been great with is baking, until we decided to try these.

This is such an easy recipe and has only 3 ingredients.
3-4 ripe bananas
3 cups gluten free oats
3/4 cup of honey
- Pre heat the oven to about 180
- Mash the bananas
- Add the oats and honey and stir until all ingredients are mixed together
- Line a baking tray and evenly spread the mixture out
- Cook for 15-20 minutes and then keep checking as may take a little longer

These are totally different to normal flapjacks these do not have the syrup, butter or brown sugar in that helps to make them sticky and golden.
They may look a little uncoloured but do not let this fool you they will be cooked. The bananas and honey help add the sweetness. They are also a totally different consistency to normal flapjacks they are more dense due to the bananas.
Do you have any gluten free recipes you would like me to feature?
