My daughter does a trick with a light, she has it on her finger then magically makes it disappear and reappear.

My daughter has a bag which has a secret compartment so it looks like something you place in there then goes missing, it’s a cool trick. She would love this to add to her magic collection.

Oh, dear! Don’t want to seem too bah-humbug but I never enjoyed magic so there were no favourite tricks. I always switched off the TV when a magician appeared.

There’s no doubt there are some incredibly talented magicians around so I have tried not to influence the children in order that they have an open mind about enjoying the entertainment and the challenge of trying to figure out how the tricks are carried out. So far, so good!

it is called black or white magic, easy to learn but baffles everyone, it’s a mind-reading trick, have an assistant and someone picks an object like a kettle in the kitchen while you are blindfolded or out of the room, the assistant points at an object and the magician says no, points at something black and its a no, next object is the kettle and you say yes. Great trick always agree on the colour and the next object is the one picked, kept my family going for years
