Just like that we have made it round to Wednesday again. As I type this sat in my car working away in the college car park. While I wait for C to do her one lesson. It is that time for my Ramblings Of A StressedMum- 06/11/2024.

Health
C had her last appointment with her ME Consultant before he retires. Like always it was a beneficial appointment. He has changed her supplements decreased some and suggested new medications to try.
I also spoke to him about her heart racing and he said straight away POTS. I advised him that we had spoken to our GP who had put in a referral for a heart monitor. He suggested taking her heart readings and doing an at home POTS test, then speaking to our GP and asking for a referral to a POTS Cardiologist.
We did the test and I contacted our GP yesterday. She advised it does sound like POTS but would need the heart monitor reading before referring. She could not put the referral through as urgent as we are 3 weeks down the line and it usually takes 6 weeks. We will see but will contact again if nothing within the next 3 weeks.
Budgies
Not the best photo as this was taken from a video C took. Last week I shared we had 3 eggs, sadly one got damaged. As we have Pippy and Louie in a cage on their own, Gizmo is missing Louie. Giz usually goes over to see Louie and it is all ok. However, last Wednesday afternoon, Snowy decided to join Gizmo. This freaked Pippy out and Louie went in the box to check on her and they had a tumble and one egg got thrown against the wall. Sadly it got damaged and Pippy let C take it out of the box.
We do now have 5 eggs though, if she is going to lay another it will be today around 4-5pm as that seems her time to lay her eggs.
Hopefully, next week we may have one of the eggs hatched as they may start hatching (if all ok) by Tuesday.
Christmas
You can not avoid Christmas is on the way. With the Christmas adverts on the TV, to the gift guides popping up and shops starting to add their Christmas products.

Turning 21
I am feeling very nostalgic at the moment, as somehow C is turning 21 tomorrow. I really can not believe that this time 21 years ago I was in hospital in labour since the evening before. Waiting to meet my daughter. She is keeping it low key and going out with a few friends on Saturday.

Probably, the mum does eat them though as she gets the nutrients from it
I love stitching cross stitch christmas cards, I don’t start till mid November as it means Chrismas is truly on its way. Also when our outside Christmas Lights are put up first weekend of Decmber I really get in the Christmas mood.

Thank you she had an amazing birthday, had her 21 presents which she found funny and loved all we got her. Then we had a mum and daughter lunch out which we both enjoyed and agreed to do more often. Then she had her little get together with her friends on Saturday which they all enjoyed

I am hoping so as well, I did ring our GP last week and was told the referral can take 6 weeks, so hoping we hear something sooner rather than later now
Listening to Christmas songs
Not a lot really, I hate the way all the shops get very busy, especially food shops!
I simply love seeing the Christmas lights pop up slowly and the joy you see on children’s faces!
I like the atmosphere around shops during the run up. Not so much shopping because trying to actually buy things in December is a nightmare, but everything is really pretty and sparkly.
I love making a list of everything I need to do and trying to work out a budget. I know that sounds mad but I love to do it haha. I also love to decorate the house with Christmas decs, other than the tree lights, I hate that!

I know, I keep thinking back to 21 years ago when she was a newborn and how I blinked and she is a grown woman aged 21. She had a great day and felt very special. Now for her celebration with her friends tomorrow

omg the budgies…This is so cute…5 eggs…I thought they would lay all the eggs at once. This is amazing…I can’t wait for the next updates.
