The evenings are getting longer, the weather is getting warmer. So what does a girl need to do to bring on those warm sunny summer days and summer evenings. That’s it, we need to update our wardrobes. I have recently been getting summer ready with the help of Yours Clothing.
I was recently, contacted to ask if I would like to work with Yours Clothing, who are a UK plus size fashion retailer. What is great about them is that they have clothes for real women. Looking Through My Wardrobe
I recently had a good sort through my summer wardrobe, seeing what I could salvage from last year. What still fitted and what had seen better days.
I have a few staples that I like to keep to wear in the summer

This meant timing for this campaign came at a great time, as I needed a few maxi dresses to complete my wardrobe.

I chose this as I loved the print, they do have other patterns available also. plus it is perfect for day wear, but also for evening wear also
Curve Pink Floral Print Cami Maxi Dress
I have a thing for prints this year, I fell in love with the style and print of this dress. Although it does come in other designs as well.
A sleeveless cami design, that has elastic waste that breaks the top and bottom of the dress. which is great for hiding those extra pounds.
Curve Black Floral Wrap Dress
Again I chose another print, but I also have a think for wrap dresses as well. This is perfect for evening wear, but just as good for lunch out with the girls. Or just because.
Curve Beige Brown Crochet Knit Slash Neck Top
Something totally different is this gorgeous crotchet knit top. I had something similar years ago, that was perfect if it got a little cooler and pop on and great for evenings as well. As I wore mine so much it literally fell to pieces that I could no longer salvage it.
I have been looking for something like this for a long time, and it is perfect.
My Thoughts
As you will know from last week, I had a fall and been very sore and in pain. This meant I was home, and not able to put a bra on. So getting decent pictures of me in the dresses, was just not going to happen. I have tried them all on, and they fit perfectly to size.
They look amazing on and perfect to see me through the summer and our holiday. You will see photos of me wearing these items pop up in posts and social media, and I will also update on here.

It is great there is a shop devoted to plus sizes with models who look healthy and promoting the clothes. We all age and grow and put on weight. It’s all a normal process and we shouldn’t need to compare ourselves to models out there. Yours is great at doing that. The dresses you picked are all so summery and light. Great choices. I need to find a long dress too for the summer
As soon as I see perfect bodied models I don’t look any further, I prefer to shop at places that have real women with curves as most of us are that way. I have tried all the dresses on and they all fit great. Definitely my new go to shop for new clothes

That crochet top is gorgeous1 I also had one of these – probably way back in the ’90s – and they really are so versatile. Plus they have that bit of glamour and bohemian aesthetic, so I always felt great wearing it. Will have to check this one out.

These are lovely! I like the Monstera print best, but style wise I think I would probably wear the floral wrap dress. I only have about one summer dress, it never gets hot enough in Scotland to justify having a wardrobe full of them, lol.
I am wearing the tropical print dress today, as had to take my daughter to the dr and I have an emergency dentist appointment, teamed with a denim jacket it looks great even though I feel rubbish and is practical
