Prepare for the day

Give yourself some tlc, have an at home spa day. Get out your special lotions. I recently wrote about how to look and feel good. I find that whether I put on a face mask, use my favourite serums or lotions. To my favourite shower gel.

Give my hair some tlc with a hair treatment, pamper my feet with a foot mask and paint my nails. These always lift my mood and I am ready to take on the world.

What To Wear

Another thing we would all have been thinking hard about is what are we going to wear? I recently wrote a post giving some lovely ideas on what to wear. No matter what your plans are, or who you are out with.

On The Day

Remember Valentines Day is just one day, but it is the day when we are supposed to show how much we care. For some women they love to use this day to celebrate Galentines Day. Why let the couples have all the fun, go on a date with your friends and you will have a great time.

What will you be doing on 14th February?

  1. 10 years we’ve been together and we still celebrate Valentines Day. For me I see it as an opportunity to let your loved ones how much they are loved. It doesn’t have to be expensive. My husband likes to make me a hand made card and I usually draw him a little picture. There is definitely no need to hate the day. We’re actually going to Chessington on Valentines Day but we are hoping to find some time in the evening to sit down and unwind in our hotel room with room service when the kids are in bed, haha
