I hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather we are currently having. I am now back from a very hot and sunny week in the South of France. It is lovely going away, and although I did pack my laptop and did a little bit of work while away. I still came home to a lot to catch up on. But firstly, time for a catch up in my weekly round up post Diary of a Menopausal Mum.

What I have been loving

One thing I love, buying toys and presents for my grand kids. When I visited them a couple of weeks ago, I mentioned to their Mum about the Butterfly Garden. Apparently, one of their friends have one, and my granddaughter loves it.
The Butterfly Garden Kit comes supplied with a voucher to order live caterpillars. Giving kids a fun and educational gift. As they watch the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly. The Live Butterfly kit includes –
- Pop-up, reusable 30cm tall mesh Butterfly Garden habitat perfect for butterfly viewing!
- Feeding Pipette
- Complete Instructions
- Certificate for live caterpillars, with free P&P
The live caterpillars are only sent out between March and mid September, and no additional cost is incurred as it is already paid when purchasing your kit.
I am so excited to see the regular updates from my granddaughter. I remember when I was slightly older than her, keeping a caterpillar and feeding it. Watching it transform into a cocoon and then turn into a butterfly. I was always updating my teacher, who asked me to take it into school so the class could also watch it.
Revive Collagen

As we age, our body changes and with that so does our skin. I was recently asked if I would like to review Revive Collagen. Which is a game changing beauty brand that states it delivers results for women of all ages. As our body ages, our natural collagen levels depletes. This results in our skin loosening and where we find our wrinkles getting more obvious.
Revive Collagen in a liquid collagen that you take once a daily. With the promise of an absorption rate of 90-95%. Which is much higher than collagen tablets which give a 30-40% absorption rate.
As my skin needs all the help it can get, I was sent a pack and took it once a day. I told no one I was taking this just to see if anyone would notice. I did notice a difference myself, but it was only when friends commented on how well I was looking. I really took notice. This is one product I would give 10 out of 10 for.
A Little Disaster

When we returned from our holiday on Sunday, my husband left me with the cases, while he went to get the car. He came back and greeted me with a can of coke had exploded. Yes we had left a can in the car, and it had gone everywhere.
We loaded the car, and as we needed petrol, I dealt with that while my husband cleaned up the car best he could with wet wipes. As you will have seen from previous posts, I use a dropless car cleaning service, which is great as you book online for a time that is convenient for you. I do have a link which you can use to get £10 off your first booking, I also get £10 off my next booking. Just head to dropless and use code smell.maker.joint.
Hope you are all having a good week

I’m going to look into those B-12 shots! I’ve heard of them, but didn’t know much about them. Sorry about the coke issue. What a nightmare!
They are meant to be good, we have just had 5th weekly dose and no benefits yet. But do know they can take a couple of months to feel the benefit
My daughters had butterfly net when they were in elementary school. They enjoyed it so much so I bet anyone would. Thanks for sharing!
I think it is something all children love it is fun but also educational
I really think that I need to start getting B12 injections. I need to check into them right away.
We are into week 5 and still no difference but I do know that can take a couple of months to have an effect
We love doing the insect lore butterflies, really must buy some more caterpillars. Hope you managed to get the coke all cleaned up, it’s sticky stuff!!
I cann not wait to get updates from my Grannddaughter as she loves watching her friends. It wasn’t too bad to clear up lucky for leather seats
I have always wondered about those butterfly kits! It is nice hearing you like those.
I think they are a great way for children to learn and experience as they watch daily at any changes
I love the Butterfly Garden Kit. We had one a few years ago and the kids loved watching the butterflies grow.
I can not wait to see my granddaughters updates
Hope you have a lovely well deserved break in the South of France, I can’t wait for our holiday as well. My children love the Butterfly Garden Kit as they had a similar one when they were young as well.
It seems a distant memory now, the buttterfly kids are great
All the best with the college. I guess we should be finding out about it soon. xx
I remember once putting a can of coke in the freezer as a child and having that explode all over the kitchen as soon as I took it out. It went literally everywhere and made everything sticky. It’s definitely not an easy substance to clean. I’m so sorry to hear it happened to you. I wish we could get a cleaning service to cleaned the mess I made back then, haha
Fingers crossed we hear something soon, she does have a day at the college next week, so hoping it is all positive steps.
It does go everywhere doesn’t it
I just had a can of coke explode in the freezer. Ah well, stuff happens. Bet I’ll remember to not freeze my coke for ‘just a minute’ next time (and then forget it was even in there). 😉
Oh no, luckily I have never done that, but it is something I would do and then forget about
That is terrible about the soda explosion! I can’t imagine having to clean that up.
We love those butterfly kits, they are awesome!
It was not a nice experience thank god for leather seats and wet wipes
The butterfly kit looks awesome! My kids will surely love it. I will surely check it out.
And the can of coke that exploded surely made a huge mess inside the car. Glad you made your car cleaned.
The butterfly kit does look like great fun and educational as well
Butterfly gardens, coke exploding, holiday in France …what a week. more photos and stories from France please. I want to travel vicariously through your words.
It was a very busy week, South of France was amazing if just a bit too hot
I remember the butterfly gardens from when I was a little girl…those were so much fun and felt so magical. Glad you were able to see the humor in the coke explosion! It’s nice to be able to laugh off little inconveniences like that and not let it ruin your fun.
The butterfly garden will be a huge hit with my granddaughter. You have to laugh these things off
Oh no, a can that exploded in the car sounds like a nightmare. I can imagine how it went everywhere.
It was not nice, especially as we are unsure it had been like that, so glad I have leather seats and it wiped clean
Oh no the coke must have made quite the mess. This has also reminded me that I need to get our car cleaned. That seems positive about C’s college place, I’ll keep everything crossed for her x
It was a mess, luckily we had a lot of wipes with us and my seats are leather. I am hoping it is all ok now and her offer will remain in place
It’s so nice to take a break and go for a few days on holiday, isn’t it? I just returned from a week away and I feel so refreshed and ready to get back to work with so much more positive energy.
It is lovely going away, but i seem to come home to dramas that is left for me to sort out
Making the most of this glorious sunshine – rain forcate later – back to painting
Rain is forecast here as well but am enjoying the cooler breeze today
The weather has been absolutely amazing and glad to hear you enjoyed your time away.
It has been lovely, although cooler today
The butterfly kit is such a great idea! I’m sorry your daughter has migraines, I get them too and they are so hard to function with sometimes. I hope she’s feeling better.
She has ongoing migraines which means she has they 24/7, which is why she has the injections every 3 months x
The Butterfly Garden Kit is the best thing ever!!! I so want to order one, soooo cool and interesting.
Kids love these, as it is educational and they love learning and watching the different stages of catperillar to butterfly
We did a butterfly garden like that last year, and it was so much fun! It was amazing to watch them grow.
I can not wait to share this with my granddaughter, and get my updates from her
Oh no can of coke explosion! Hopefully you could laugh about it after. We have that caterpillar/butterfly kit and also love it.
`Honestly it went everywhere, yes can laugh about it, luckily my seats are leather so easy to wipe clean. It is just the windows that I can not do
