Today is day 2 of the Blogtober challenge, and today I am talking about the best things about Autumn.
Table of Contents
Slippers

I always treat myself to a new pair of slippers at this time of year. I was lucky enough to be asked to review a pair of slippers from Moshulu. Moshulu is a family business who design their footwear in Devon. They have become known as one of the UK’s leading footwear retailers. Known by their customers for quality, colour and comfort.
I chose the Carrie fluffy slippers, and I always look forward to popping them on when I have been out. You can tell that they are great quality from the first time you put them on.
Homemade Soup

One thing I love is homemade soup, you can literally make any combination of soup. It is also great for using up fresh veg you have. I got a soup maker a couple of years ago and it is great. You just add your ingredients and then set it to do its thing. Choosing smooth or chunky.
My family love a bowl of homemade soup, C especially loves my chicken soup, even more so when she is ill.
Hot Chocolate

One thing C loves in my hot chocolate with added marshmallows. It is the perfect pick me up and warrm me up drink. As I am a huge coffee drinker, I have a coffee maker. I heat up the milk and add the frothy milk to hot chocolate just like Costa Coffee does.
Warm Jumpers

I have fished my warm jumpers and cardigans out, and been loving re-uniting with them. How I have missed the warm hugs they give me. I hate being too hot but equally hate being cold, although it would be the perfect excuse for a hot chocolate.
Christmas Is Coming

The arrival of Autumn means that Christmas is coming. I love the sparkling lights, the excitement of the kids, all the build up. Spending time with friends and family. I have always loved Christmas, as everyone seems happy. Plus all the Christmas songs to sing along with.

I love this time of year and by the time October comes around I’m in getting excited for Christmas! I also love soups, warm jumpers and hot chocolate!
I love when you can start to wear you jumpers again and sit with a hot drink
I do love autumn. Homemade soups are one of my favourite things about this time of year. I also love getting all of my snuggly blankets out and enjoying a hot chocolate whilst watching films.
That is the best things about Autumn
I love all of these things. Thanks for sharing!
I love all these things too, it’s my favourite time of the year ☕
Spring is my favourite season, but Autumn comes a very close second
I actually really don’t like slippers as I tend to fold my legs everywhere I sit so for me it has to be socks or slipper socks. I do love the idea of snuggling into a warm cosy jumper, my dressing down with a nice cup of soup. My husband calls me the soup dragon just because you always find me drinking soup.
I love slippers, C wears boot type slippers so that she can do what you do when sitting. I am loving my jumper dresses as well and been wearing them as well.
I love slippers and cozy sweatshirts this time of year. Definitely also big on the hot chocolate!
Me too, nothing nicer than feeling all cosy and warm
Oh, I love all of these too. Soup is nutritious, filling, comforting and affordable. Every day, I look forward to getting home and back into my slippers. Your new ones look lovely. I haven’t been cold enough to get into my jumpers yet but will be grateful for them soon xxx
I do love soups at this time of year and through the colder months, and loving my new slippers and always look forward to getting home and putting them on
I love the slippers and the homemade soup. I’m also starting on Christmas planning. #blogtober22
They are two of the best things for the cooler weather, I need to make a big hit on my gift guides this week
I love this time of year especially the part about getting cosy on an evening. I get new slippers next month for my birthday and we’re already having a mug of hot chocolate most nights. x
I always get my Mum new slippers at Christmas, C is loving her hot chocolate every night now
I love my Moshulu slippers, my grandchildren call them my Granny slippers as they look quite old fashioned but I love them. I make a lot of homemade soups but never felt the need for a soup maker
I am a granny so I could live with that haha. I never thought about needing a soup maker until I got one.
homemade soups are a firm favourite here – I do a different batch everyweek and freeze – delicious
I need to start making soups up and freezing down
