If you take regular medication you will know the pain of having to put a repeat prescription into the Drs Surgery. Then having to wait for the prescription to be written. Going back to the Surgery to pick it up and then visit a chemist and waiting for them to dispense the medication. It could take you hours depending on how busy the chemist is. Now I have found a hassle free way to get your prescriptions.
If you are on regular medication, this can become tiresome every month or so. Both myself and C are on regular medication. Sadly they are not timed together. This means I would have twice the journeys, also taking into account the traffic, as we have standstills throughout the school holidays.

How I Use The Service
My surgery has opted for more online communication, which I love. I no longer have to keep trying to get through to make an appointment. As I log onto their website to book an appointment, check results, discuss medication, repeat prescriptions etc. I use the chemist that is attached to our Surgery.

- Confirm your GP Surgery
- Request the medication you need
- I can opt to collect in store or have it posted to me
- I get updates from the request being received, to the GP authorising, to it being dispatched.
- I also get tracking of when it will be delivered.
Ordering my prescriptions online, means obviously saving time, as I can do this anytime of the day or night. I can make sure I am ordering the medication needed at that time. It also logs orders so I can look back if I need to.

How comes I never knew about this? I can’t believe I have never looked into online prescriptions. I do hate discussing my health and medication in public. Do you have to pay for delivery?
It is something I find so helpful and you can order at anytime
I order my repeat prescriptions online, but on the surgeries website, and the prescription then gets sent electronically to my chosen chemist. Unfortunately they do not deliver so I do then have to collect it.
Mine has now started to make you collect,or you can have the choice for it to be delivered through their head office
I order mine online with Boot’s and their posted directly to me
