We are now enjoying the long sunny days of the school holidays. If you are fed up of hearing I am hungry for the 100th time that day. I am sharing some Easy Recipes To Do With The Kids During Summer Holidays

Rainbow Fruit Skewers

My kids used to love making these, and they are fun to make and healthy as well.
What you will need
A variety of fruit – strawberries, kiwi, banana, grapes, melon for example
Skewers
Yogurt – for a dip
How to make
- Peel the fruit and wash
- Thread the fruit pieces onto the skewers
- Enjoy – you can also give a yogurt dip as well
Mini Pizza Faces

Everyone loves pizza and making your own pizza always tastes so much nicer and a lot more fun. I used to make these a lot with my kids when they were younger and my grandkids love making their own as well
What you will need
Pizza base – muffins, pitta breads or pizza bases
Tomato Sauce
Grated Cheese
Toppings – peppers, sweetcorn, ham, pepperoni, mushrooms
How to made
- Have all the toppings ready
- Let the kids do their thing and create their own pizza
- Pop in the oven or grill until ready
Frozen Yogurt Berry Bark

Such a quick and easy thing to make, and kids love this. Plus so much better for them as well
What you will need
Greek Yoghurt
Runny Honey
Fruit – Strawberries Blueberries, Raspberries
Chocolate Chips – optional
Mix Greek yogurt with a little honey, spread onto a tray, then top with:
How to make
- Mix to Greek yoghurt and add honey to taste – to sweeten up
- Add the fruit you have chosen and chocolate chips if using and mix together
- Pour into a container and freeze for 3-4 hours and then break into pieces
No-Bake Energy Balls

Quick and easy to make and the best bit is no baking. The kids will love to help make these and get their hands on these
What you will need
200g Porridge Oats
125g Peanut Butter or sunflower Seed Butter
3 tbsp Runny Honey
2 tbsp Chocolate Chips
2 tbsp Desicated Coconut
How to make
- Put all the ingredients into a bowl
- Roll into balls
- Place in the fridge to chill
Homemade Lemonade

What you will need
200ml Fresh Lemon Juice
100g Sugar or Runny Honey
1 litre of cold water
Ice
Mint Leaves
Lemon Slices
How to make
- Add all the ingredients to a jug
- Pour and enjoy
Chocolate-Dipped Fruit

Messy yes but lots of fun to make
What you will need
Fruit of Choice – strawberries, bananas for example
Chocolate – melted
Toppings if used – sprinkles, coconut
How to make
- Melt the chocolate
- Dip the fruit in the melted chocolate
- roll in topping if using
- Either eat straight away or leave for the chocolate the set
Strawberry Ice Lollies

Everyone loves a cooling treat, if you are looking for more healthy cooling treats this is a lovely recipe that is easily adaptable
What you will need
300g Strawberries
150g Greek Yoghurt
2 tbs Honey
Splash of Orange or Apple Juice
How to make
- add all the ingredients to a blender and blitz – to a smoothie mixture
- Pour into lolly moulds
- Leave to freeze overnight

We love experimenting with different ice lolly flavours and we’ve done a little bit of baking,but it’s been too hot

frozen yogurt bark looks really good. All the ideas are brilliant it’s hard to keep thinking of healthy snack ideas so these have really helped
