We are somehow at Wednesday again, which as you already know is time for my weekly round up post Ramblings Of A StressedMum – 22/05/2024.

Health
I mentioned last week that we had our zoom meeting with C’s Consultant. We received our letter on Saturday, with the copy to our GP sent the same time. I have been ringing to see if our GP would prescribe the new medications he wants her to start. In the end, I had to go in to our surgery in the end yesterday and get them to take a copy, after a lot of phone calls they prescribed 2 our of the 4 prescriptions for the new medications.
I went to the Chemist today, and told it would not be ready for 3-4 days. No explanation until I said you are joking, one they have had to order in, which I accepted as I know it is a new medication to help with sleeping.
Baby Budgies
Apparently, there are 2 boys and 1 girl. Meet our soon to be new addition. She is 5 weeks old so we could get her as early as a couple of weeks. The first photo she has a very similar cheeky look to Pippy. The are cousins though so probably why.
we now need to think of a name for her. So any suggestions for a rainbow girl budgie will be greatly appreciated. C likes Winnie so far.
This does mean, that we will also be on the look out for a green boy budgie to even the numbers up.
Let’s Talk
As promised I re-started my weekly discussion post. A topic that was suggested this past week was coping with the loss of a family pet. This was very strange as it was a year last Thursday that we lost Max our amazing one in a million dog.
So the first topic we spoke about was how to cope with losing a pet. I spoke about how it has affected us all, and how we have found living without him this past year.

I usually am good with remembering Fathers Day as my Mums birthday and sons birthday are usually within days of Fathers Day

Budgies are such sweet little birds, what a cutie. I can’t believe we are not far from being in June already, the year is passing very quickly. I did also read your post about Max and coping with losing a pet.
Budgies are very cute, it is Gizmos first birthday today, C has just put a water fountain in their cage which her friend gave her. Snowy will love it and hopefully use it rather than the water bowl. This year is flying by far too quickly. I can not believe it is a year since we lost Max but swear he is still here with us

The budgies are so funny and cheeky, Snowy our white one had a tough time before coming to us. She will not let us touch her but last nigh we were having a great conversation
If C likes Winnie, Winnie it is…These budgies are so cute, Winnie would definitely work lol…So cute.
She came up with Winnie while I was cooking dinner, I stopped what I was doing and thought about it and said yes that would work. She does want some more options though before making the final decision

Honestly, it is never ending. One reason we all do fight is that it can end so heartbreakingly as I heard yesterday about an 18 year old who lost her life to ME, this week. So we have to battle and keep on

Father’s day is a sad one for me – I’ll bring beautiful flowers for dad’s grave – never forgotten
They are all doing great. It is hard when you have lost someone so close. But a lovely day to remember them and laugh at memories to keep them alive in our hearts
I would name her Sky. She has that blue that leads into the cream color. She reminds me of a sky with white puffy clouds.
I love that name and suggested to C, who looked at me and said but she has yellow as well, to which I replied what about the sun. I will suggest sky again
I mean, I think you nailed her name when you asked the question. Rainbow Girl has a nice ring to it!
I will suggest it but too much as the others are all short quick names
