So Sand DIY – Toy Case Review

I was recently sent the So Sand DIY – Toy Case to review, as I have always had a fascination for what things feel like (I have never grown up).  I felt this would be a great item to review and share.

so sand

With many children and adults having sensory issues, I was particularly drawn to trying this.  As the box boasts 10+ Sensory Experiences.  Meaning this will create another sensory.

About So Sand DIY – Tool Box

Canal So Sand DIY – Tool Box is 100% ASMR.

 What is ASMR?

ASMR is sensory stimulation which is awakened by soft, repetitive sounds, bringing a real relaxing effect and a feeling of calm.

Inside the box you receive everything you need to create your own colourful sensory stimulation play.

  • Tool Storage with handle
  • Activity Mat
  • Sand Decoration Storages
  • Tool Storage
  • Tools
  • Sand
  • Brightly Coloured Sand
  • Brightly Cooured Glitter

The kit is aimed at age 6+, but with supervision younger children would love to play with it.  I tried this with C, as you will be aware she has a chronic illness and gets bored but very tired easily.  I thought it would be fun and different to play with, although she would not let me take pictures.  We spent a great time putting it to the test and trying all the sands and tools out.

My Opinion

We loved this and feel it is great for young and old who love sensory play.  Not only the touch and feel but also the bright colours as well.  Not forgetting the easy storage where it can all be kept together for next time.

If you would like to try this for yourself, you can buy the So Sand  DIY – Toy Case from any good toy shops for around £19.99.

Do you enjoy sensory play, maybe share with others to give them some great sensory play ideas.

This sounds like a great toy, but also great for using with certain other groups of people who require sensory treatment / input.

Thank you for letting me know about this. My daughter and I have been looking for new activities or new toys that would keep my grandson busy. It is so easy for him to get bored especially now that we are still on lock down.

This sounds like a great toy to have for those who want something tangible to feel with their hands. I keep thinking I should really get something I can just play with and relax, wonder if this work.
