My Thoughts

I have been using the drinks this week, although will admit for various reasons not everyday. Although, they have been great for helping me with my ongoing dental problems. Two flavours that I love and always my go to are chocolate and vanilla.

  1. to be honest with you I have always struggled so possibly not the best person to ask and this was how I found your site, while looking up weight loss drinks. I guess one thing which does work is finding some form of exercise which you find fun, whether it’s walking or dancing to YouTube videos etc. Happy New year everyone.

  2. Ive struggled with my weight for a while now. My son has just told me hes getting married this year in florida. this could be just what i need to get that weight off

  3. I think it’s very important to set yourself realistic / achievable goals – especially when it comes to weight targets.

  4. I need to lose weight again now and thought these looked like a good way to do it easily, I found that diets such as weight watchers worked for me as everything was still allowed in moderation

  5. Set small achievable goals instead of a big one, it makes you feel more successful and therefore motivates you to keep going

  6. My goal is to eat less and move more! I’m hoping to finally get some control over my weight this year

  7. Eat less – move more!
Cut down your portion sizes and exercise more.
And will power not to reach for the chocolates, biscuits and crisps.

  8. Instead of having large portions of what you love reduce the amount. It becomes more of a treat then.

  9. My top tip is mindfulness eating: Pay attention to your hunger and fullness levels, and stop eating when you’re satisfied. Avoid distractions, such as screens, while eating, and take the time to enjoy your food.

  10. My top tip for maintaining/losing weight is to do plenty of walking each day. Always walk short distances rather than driving.

  11. Cutting out alcohol makes a huge difference. Instead of settling in front of the TV at night with a glass of wine, go out a 10 minute walk. Yes I know it is hard but by springtime you will feel so much better.

  12. Basically to eat less, move more. I actually go through eating healthy thoroughout the week and then whatever I fancy from midnight on Friday until midnight on Saturday to lose weight

  13. Don’t do any of the well-known diets. They can lead to disordered eating. Change habits slowly rather than crash dieting.

  14. I find that if I adjust my diet so that I’m not consuming any processed carbs, and instead filling up on protein it is the only way I can lose weight and also feel good at the same time!

  15. For me it’s exercise: I have a specific time of day when I do my Youtube workouts. It becomes part of your routine and it doesn’t feel like a chore then. I actually like meal replacements for lunch at work. I often don’t have time to sit down properly, and just need something quick to fill me up.

  16. Walk as much as you can, even a one mile walk to the shops only takes 20 minutes and gets you out in the fresh air

  17. It’s very important, as we get older, to lift weights. Not only for the health benefits but it creates muscle, which in turn burns more calories, win/win!

  18. Keeping active I don’t drive so I walk everywhere I also do t weigh myself I go on the feel of my clothes

  19. Mine would be to not cut out treats or ‘junk’ but to limit it instead, there is nothing wrong with any types of food in moderation! Staying active helps with loss/maintaining and also keeps you healthy in general 🙂

  20. So simple, no junk, eat real food, veg, meat, fish, nuts and pulses, and some daily exercise, even if its cleaning etc, and a little discipline….

  21. If you are a grazer type. then have plenty of healthy grazing options but keep main mean portions smaller. Add exercise in a realistic way by doing functional exercise first, walking instead of car, taking steps and then adding a few strength classes per week.

  22. Before you start your weight-loss journey, go through your fridge and kitchen cupboards forensically and chuck out anything that belongs to your old eating pattern, that you turned to for comfort, and which could trip you up. While you’re at it, check the use by dates. A certain member of my family, who I won’t name, had tinned vegetables and fruit 10 years after they should have been thrown out!

  23. My tip for maintaining is to still eat the things you love, just in small amounts, and reach for healthier snack foods like veggie sticks and hummus for fibre and fullness.

  24. My tip for losing weight is do your shopping at the major supermarket my last monthly shop filled a trolley, this month the same amount of money only fills a basket so thanks to Rishi Sunak we’re all eating less and losing weight!

  25. My tip is to not focus only on what your eating/drinking, but pay attention to your activity levels too. Being active is just as important as diet, but I think some people overlook that.

  26. I identified what my bad eating weaknesses were and cut cheese and crisps completely out of my diet and lost 1 and a half stone.

  27. I tend to not weigh myself, but use how tight my clothes are to indicate if I need to try and lose weight!

  28. My children (who give VERY honest opinions!!) and my wardrobe for fitting clothes are perfect motivators to lose weight!

  29. Buyer clothes in a smaller size and trying them on weekly untily you reach that goal! This worked for me even though it sounds mad. It is all about mindset.

  30. Keep active! Even it is to get up and wash the dishes or vacuuming. Choosing walking over taking the car or bus if there journey is less than 30 mins by foot. Also brush your teeth if you feel like snacking for comfort. Usually the taste of toothpaste reduces your appetite

  31. Never think of losing weight as being a ‘diet’ – it has to be a lifestyle change, or the weight will just pile back on when you go back to eating normally! Intermittent fasting has helped me enormously to focus on eating more mindfully.
