Proud Mum

So proud of her

Last Thursday was GCSE results day. As you know C had no education during secondary school due to illness. Last year she started a college course and had to take GCSE Maths and English. She has always flourished with English and always struggled with Maths.

At 8am last Thursday I was up in her room and no results came through. At 10am I rang college for her and we ended up going in. We saw her maths tutor first who said well done, she had passed. I very nearly hugged her tutor and struggled back tears. Next we saw her English Tutor who said the same. She told C her writing was amazing and keep on writing stories. I mentioned through tears about her not having education during her secondary years. She was blown away and bowed down to her. I spent the day telling her how proud I was, as did her Dad. This also means level 2 of her course will just be animal care.

Treat

squishmallow

When she was younger, we always gave her a treat for a good school report. So I said we would get her a treat. She had requested a bubble tea from her favourite place. You will have seen me mention Squishmallows yesterday. Well this is her new obsession to collect and she wanted the above purple bigfoot squishmallow. We said yes and then I found out it was £50. I have never spent that much before, and after a discussion we got it for her with also being told. We will not spend that much again. But she has really struggled and done so well with getting above the pass mark.

ULEZ

This is my biggest rant for a long time now. It has come into my area, although I live in Surrey we are also a London Borough. I must be on every Facebook group. My biggest rant is that on my road there is no warning you are entering a ULEZ zone. For those of you who have visited Chessington World of Adventures that is the road. Luckily, I avoid it taking C to college.

The Duo

the feathered duo

Not the best picture but most recent of the two of them together. Gizmo is just starting his first moult and Pippy seems to have come out in sympathy with him. He is totally mad and so funny. Pippy will always come to see me when she is out and give me a kiss. Gizmo has started doing this as well.

C is worried Pippy’s claws are getting too long and needs clipping. 8.20 this morning I get a text can you help me. I have not even had a coffee at this point. So I go in, and am holding her and she would not keep her feet still. So somehow, I have to go in and help again later.

Don’t miss out on my current giveaways, with another one going live today. Perfect for Christmas presents.
