I am convinced it is Thursday today no idea why but am putting it down to lack of sleep. After the excitement of the football on Sunday, and us losing to Spain, I am now looking forward to hopefully the Summer coming. If you think I am joking check your weather apps. Time for my weekly round up Ramblings Of A StressedMum – 17/07/2024.

Health

I am still suffering, at times it does feel like it is getting worse. On Friday, I did go back to my GP surgery and saw one of the lovely Dr,s but also one who just tells me to keep going. I am still on the medication that is wiping me out, but sadly not helping me sleep. Honestly I woke 5 times last night.
I do have my blood tests tomorrow so am hoping that they may show something that can help.
Let’s Talk

This week my weekly discussion was on health screening for men. This has got quite a reaction with most of you agreeing there should be screening for men which we get as women. One or two said it is our bodies and we should not be made to have screening.
As, we know and talking for us women, we get that letter through the post inviting us for our screenings. We are not forced to go and can choose to ignore the invites if we want too. The same should happen for men. I personally make my appointments straight away, as would rather know all is ok than have that niggling doubt, I am also pretty confident that if men got a letter calling them for a simple blood test. More men would go as they too would have that niggling thought in their heads.
Do you have any topics for my next weekly discussion post? Let me know as I am enjoying talking about the various topics and sharing all our thoughts
Product Of The Week

This is where I share with you a product that I have purchased this week, and loving.
Bubble Panda

One thing C loves and will always ask for is Bubble Tea. Sometimes, she will ask if we can order one in, if we have not been out and I say yes. I do love a vanilla one but she will try all sorts. I heard of Bubble Panda a while ago and did order her some of their kits. Yesterday, I accidentally broke the glass that came with one of her kits and promised her I would replace it.
She chose the Fruit Starter Kit (shown above). It comes with everything you need to make 4 bubble teas
- Peach & Mango – Green Tea, Peach Syrup & Mango Bubbles
- Lychee & Passion Fruit – Jasmine Green Tea, Lychee Syrup & Passion Fruit Bubbles
- Cherry & Raspberry – Assam Black Tea, Cherry Syrup & Raspberry Bubbles
- Honeydew Melon & Kiwi – Green Tea, Honeydew Melon Syrup & Kiwi Bubbles
The kits usually cost £40 but are half price at the moment for £20.

Love the sound of the bubble tea kit, my 14 year old loves bubble tea so I’m going to get one for him.
They are great kits and so many different ones to choose from
The bubble tea sounds fantastic – we have it a lot out and about, but using a kit at home sounds fantastic! Thank you for sharing your week.
My daughter does love bubble tea and sometimes she will ask if we can order one in, or when we are out she usually has one. These kits are great and even I have liked all she has tried so far
My daughter is bubble tea mad, I do enjoy the but she lives for the things!
My daughter does as well which is why I am loving these kits
My daughters have given me the bubble tea craving this past month, so Bubble Panda seems perfect for me. Thanks for sharing, hope all is well!
It was my daughter who got me into them, I stick with the one I love but do try hers. These kits are great
I love that Bubble Tea kit! Men’s health does get overlooks far too often!
They do so many different kits it is hard to choose. Mens health is over looked and something that does need addressing
I’ve never made my own bubble t at home, maybe I need to give it a go. You’re so right about men’s health, most guys need the nudge to get something checked out x
C loves them and we have had a few, I do try them once she has made them and they are so easy to make as well. Mens health is over looked which is sad as we all know what men are like for getting checked
Sorry to read you’re wiped out but thank you for continuing to publish your weekly Ramblings. I enjoy dipping in.
The bubble tea flavours look fabulous. Our girls would enjoy the kit.
It is the medication, went for my blood tests this morning but was a bit hit and miss due to that outage. They decided to go for normals plus a couple of others. I am back Tuesday for diabetic check so will do any missed then.
The bubble tea kids are great
Never understand why men’s health doesn’t take priority – hopefully we’ll see some changes in the years to come
I can not understand it either surely their health is just as important than ours
Love the look of the bubble tea kit. Honeydew Melon and Kiwi sounds delicious!
C loves these kits, they have a lovely range of kits on their site
I love bubble tea so that starter kit is right up my alley! There are so many fun flavours to try!
You should see all the different types of kits they do
That clean living starter kit giveaway is great. I’ve been trying to go more all-natural, so that’s a nice little head start.
That Bubble Panda set looks great. I’m a HUGE fan of bubble tea, so I would love this.
They are great sets and so far all we have tried have been lovely
