This week has flown by and am not quite sure how we have arrived at Wednesday again so soon. This means that it is now time for my weekly round up post Ramblings Of A StressedMum -10/04/2024.

Health
Last week, I updated on C’s migraines and that she is now waiting to start a new migraine treatment. They did discuss during her last appointment also, that she should visit the Opticians to have her eyes checked. She had her appointment today, and needed new glasses also. But there is no sign of the IIH at the moment causing concerns.
No change in an update from me, still have the pain and discomfort with my shoulder, arm and hand. Plus ongoing teeth problems but back at the dentist tomorrow.
An Update
I know a lot of you are wanting updates on the eggs. We are now down to 3 eggs and think that they are not going to hatch. We still have a few days but really just need to wait for Snowy to either throw those out of the nest box or lose interest and just leave them.
This has been such a roller coaster journey it is such a shame if we do not get at least one egg hatch as she has been such an amazing mum. I will keep you updated.
A Family Meet Up
Yesterday, myself, C and my Mum met up with my daughter in law and my two grandaughters. Plus my eldest who we have not seen for 6 years (a very long story). We have spoken but just not seen. Came along as well, I even managed a picture of him and C together. Plus they sat and chatted and no arguments haha.
We had an amazing day, my youngest seen above, giving her Auntie some huggles, was non stop and kept us all amused. Her sister a lot quieter but is getting over a virus.
Plus, some great things planned for this year including my eldest turning 30, C turning 21.
A Little Getaway
I will be away next week as it is my birthday. We are off to Somerset which is where I grew up for 3 years when a child. Plus my husband went to school there, so a place we both love. I am also going to a Spa day on my birthday which is something we have never done before.

Sounds like quite an eventful week! I am quite glad the little reunion went well and a vacation to Somerset sounds lovely. I look forward to the update on the eggs as well!

Oh, man. I’m going to be so bummed if we don’t get any little birdies! I’m so invested in those eggs for some reason. LOL
I know, I think I am more upset than C, she is very matter of fact. Keeps telling me the first lay of eggs it is very rare to get any hatching. I am always looking at the three eggs if Snowy is out of the box. My opinion is that she is still sitting on them so she must think they are ok

I am hoping we get one but keep being told it is unusual for the first lay of eggs to hatch, but I am hopeful
