The weather will be staring to get nicer, as we head towards Spring and then Summer. Which is why now is the time, to start putting ideas into place and start to look at days out. At least so we all have something to look forward too. Which is why I am sharing my tips for planning the perfect day out.
We are lucky that we live in a county, where there is so much to do and see. Obviously not so lucky as the weather is very hit and miss at times.

Making Plans

I love making plans and writing trips on my calendar, as it is official once on the calendar. We have made a few plans so far for this year. I have never been to a festival, and wanted to go to one, so my husband has booked two festivals. This will also be taking me out of my comfort zone of camping and not staying in a hotel. We also have a couple of concerts booked.
My daughter is also looking at theme parks to visit with her friends and other days out. We are also looking at various trips with friends and the grandkids.
Being Prepared

Making sure you are prepared for your outing, is also something you have to consider. We never go anywhere without our phones. Which is why I am loving the Selfie Bag from Cotton Bag Co. This is the perfect bag that has everything inside you will need, to take that perfect selfie and capture your memories. The bag includes ā
- A canvas bag ā with an eye capturing print, which seals with a zip for extra security. Also an inside pocket to keep your valuables safe.
- Bluetooth tripod selfie stick ā Perfect for getting that perfect angle, while trying to get everyone in a group photo. Or getting yourself and the landscape all in.
- Pop up reflector -You will be able to get the perfect lighting for your selfies with a pop-up reflector which comes tucked up in its own mini bag.
- LED ring light āĀ Sometimes you need a little extra lighting. Using an LED ring will give you that no matter where you are.
Depending on where you are going, and how you are travelling there. You will also need ā
- Snacks for the journey
- Bottles of water
- First aid kit
- Wet wipes
- Something warmer to change into
- Waterproofs
- Power bank
Making Those Memories

No mater what plans you make, even a trip to the park can create happy memories. Capturing them is the most important thing. Our little family grows up so fast and you will always have something to look back at in years to come.
Have you made any plans for this year?

Certainly pays to be organised – we can’t control the weather : we can prepare if it does rain
The weather sadly is something we can not control, but we all seem to be prepared for the changeable weather
We love a day out. We are very lucky and live close to awesome beaches. Good planning is important to make sure we have everything we need, our beaches do not have nearby shops. My great grandson is six and loves to come along on our trips.
I do love days out with the grandkids, always great for a fun day but you do need to make sure you are prepared

It is always best to be prepared for a day out with the right kit as it makes it less stressful! I always try and make sure I have a little bag packed with some snacks, chargers etc
It is always best to be prepared, especially when there are kids involved
Snacks are always such a great idea to bring, not only helps keep your energy up but it can also make your wallet happy since you won’t need to stop anywhere for food. ~Luna S
Very true it does help the pennies and means you do not have to make unecessary stops
We’ve booked a couple of trips in the UK, so this will involve having days out. Great tips on what to take, I always get somewhere I curse when I realise I should’ve brought a selfie stick. We always end up with pictures just two of us rather than the three of us.
I always try to carry a selfie stick in my bag as they really are so helpful and make taking pictures so much easier
This does sound like a great time! I would love to head out for a fun day with the family today!
I do love heading out with my family on day trips
I cannot wait for the weather to warm up a bit and plan a day out to the beach or the farmer’s market. I’m so over winter haha. Great tips and reminders š

These are great products to have when you are out as we all love taking pictures to capture various moments with family and friends. That reminds me, I need more wet wipes, you can never have enough.
I always have wet wipes in the car and my bag, even more so if I have my grandkids with me haha
We haven’t made any plans for this year, we are normally super organised but not this year!
We have a few things planned but not as much as usual

It always seems so much more to think about when you are heading out with kids.
We’re usually well prepared when we go out but almost almost we always forget one or two things lol…,Great list, thank you so much.
I think that is something all parents do as well
Snacks and plasters are a must when we ever go out walking. Kids always get hungry and I get blisters LOL
I always get blisters as well and always have plasters in my bag
That is a great list of things to pack. I learned the hard way to always have snacks, especially when travelling around with kids! You can’t count on getting things on the road sometimes!
I always had something in my bag when the kids were younger, now I just say if you want something bring it with you
