I was talking with someone the other day and they suggested baking for dogs. I mentioned it to my husband who laughed and then we got chatting about it. I love baking, but have never done any baking for dogs. Which is why I am sharing a Peanut Butter Honey Cake for Dogs recipe today.
Next day I was busy working away, when my husband text me a recipe for dog treats. I had all the ingredients in so thought why not give it a go.
So I got all the ingredients together to make the peanut butter honey cakes. With Max in tow we went up to the studio, Max is not usually allowed anywhere near when I am cooking, so he was very happy to be allowed in and be around where I was working.
As you can see in the video it is very easy to make
Only trouble is, if Max knows I am going up to the studio, or knows I am in there he follows and has a good look around, in case he is missing out.
So am going to be making this a regular feature am sure my helper will get more involved, instead of keep wondering off.

I know a neighbour who not only bakes for his dog but cooks all his meals for his dog too. I think it’s great it’s easy so those with young kids can get involved too.

I’ve baked for all of our pups. From cookies, to cakes, to kong stuffing. Dogs loved it all! Super easy too, and you know all the ingredients making it great for allergies!

I have a few treat recipes, and a couple of them have videos with my dogs helping, and one was a puppy at the time
Peanut butter and honey are among my favourite foods; together in a cake, they must taste so wonderful! I’m feeling hungry after reading this.
I can not stand peanut butter, and the smell which is strange as I love peanuts and love butter. I do love honey though
