LIFE IN A LOCKDOWN LINKY – WEEK 16

LIFE IN A LOCKDOWN LINKY – WEEK 16

As it is Tuesday again, it is time for my weely post in the Life In a Lockdown linky, where each week myself and a few other Bloggers take part and answer the same questions.  You can find last weeks post here.

So what has been happening this week?

lockdown

1) How are you feeling/coping?

Last week I was pretty stressed as fighting for C’s education for next year.  This week following a letter of support from her Consultant that I defy anyone to refuse her education.  It is very powerful and will hold a lot of support for our case.  I have also arranged an appointment with a great support network who help you appeal against the decision.  So this week I am feeling much more in control.

We also had a zoom meeting with C’s Consultant on Thursday, regarding her ongoing gastric problems.  He asked her so many questions, and still feels it could be what he originally diagnosed with in February.  We now have a 3 months prescription for anti virals to see if this helps, and to do a daily diary of how she is feeling.  So feeling positive that these will help her.

2) What are you doing to keep yourself occupied?

Sorting out battles with my boys, they have always argued but always been close as well.  I seem to have got roped into trying to sort out the latest drama.  Honestly kids never get any easier.

We also got to see my granddaughter on Friday, we had so much fun and I think her favourite sayings were Grandad is naughty, as my husband had to go out to a meeting for a bit.  Also Nanny come and play and Nanny come here.  She struggles saying my Daughters name and sounded so sweet when she was trying to say it.  They have an amazing bond, they both adore each other.  C did so well but slept all the way home and struggled over the weekend, but was worth it to see her have that smile on her face.

I have also found a new online photo editor that will help me when writing new blog posts and social media posts.

3) How are you dealing with everything at the moment – are you self-isolated, going out for essentials etc? Has this changed?

Pretty much as normal, self isolating and still getting my shopping delivered.  Was nice to get to see family though

4) What advice do you have for others?

Be sensible, if you are out be aware of those around you and don’t forget to wear your mask

5) What have you bought this week that others might like? Especially if from a small business

Nothing, I have been looking at a few things though

6) How has your routine been this week? (Question by Don’t Cramp My Style)

The same as previous weeks, it has not changed at all

7) Have you planned anything for once lockdown is over in the past 7 days?? (Question by Don’t Cramp My Style)

Planning on seeing my granddaughter more, and also trying to arrange to get to see our other Son a his two.

Thank you to

    1. It is hard, we are in day four now and her pains are getting worse but thinking positive it could mean they are starting to work

  1. This past week made me really feel sad. Two people I know have contracted the virus and it worries me so much. Not that I had direct contact with them, but these are people I know. One is my cousin’s father in law, and the other one is my son’s girlfriend. I hope they recover quickly. This virus is really scary!
