L’abu Skin Review

When I was younger I never worried about skin care too much, even though my Mum used to tell me to look after my skin.  I was young my skin was fine, fast forward a decade or two and bam.  Why did I not listen to my Mum, I am now in my 50’s and wish I had listened to my Mum all those years ago.

It took a few years, until I started to look after my skin, and now have a love of skin care products.  Which is why when sourcing items for my Mothers Day Gift Guide, I was excited to try L’abu skin care products. When I received the products through I felt I needed to write a full blog post rather than just mentioning in my gift guide.

Who are L’abu Skin

L’abu skin is a mother and daughter duo who opened their first skin care clinic in 2017.  Offering self-regenerating treatments for lifting and tightening the skin in a safe way and at the comfort of your own home. They found their path of natural products after listening to what customers wanted, and work closely to keep the range uncomplicated and easy to use.

I was sent the following products to review

Oat Milk Face Cleanser – £15.00

oat milk face cleanser

The Oat Milk Face Cleanser is a rich cream based cleanser that removes make up and daily grime, without any irritating the skin. The cleanser contains the Japanese favourites of rice and oat milk, known for clarifying the skin. The carrier oils are rich, so that the skin retains its PH balance, promoting clear and toned results. Gently removes excess makeup and daily grime. Infuses for a deep luxurious cleanse leaving the skin soft and hydrated. Works to clarify for a luminous finish.

Use Day and night 2-3 pumps and gently work into the skin with circular motions, then wipe away and wash off with a warm flannel, repeating if you need too.

Hand and Nail Treatment – £15.00

hand and nail

The Hand and Nail Treatment is a fast absorbing, nutrient rich treatment that is perfect to treat tired hands. The creamy coconut 12 hour treatment contains Shea Butter and natural extracts.

Use day and night by applying a small amount to clean, dry hands and rub into the skin, nails and cuticles until evenly spread.

My Opinion

It would be unfair of me to give any real review on these products at the moment, as not had a chance to use them and see the results. I will write a follow up review of all the products once I have given them a proper use.

As I previously said I am in my 50’s and my skin shows that, any help I can give my skin to appear more youthful is a bonus. I a excited to use these products and to share my findings.

I can share that when I order products the packaging always makes an impression on me, it is the little touches that make the most impact.  The products were wrapped in tissue paper with a lovely ribbon, also included was a skin care guide which when trying new products is a lovely addition to have hand.

Have you tried L’abu Skin products before?

I’ll be 40 this year and I really wish I’d taken better care of my skin before now. I’m only just starting to cleanse properly daily and I do notice a difference. I love the sound of the face oil, I’m definitely in need of some elastin!

I think most of us look back and wish we had taken better care of our skin. All the products sound great and just what my skin needs I really am hopeful that my follow up review will be saying how great the products are

My mum always said to me to take care of my skin when I was younger so I got into a skincare routine when I was about 26, I’m hoping it will help me over the years. Some great sounding products, especially the oat milk cleanser, I love milky cleansers x
