We have recently had to change our lounge around quite substantially. My husband is setting up a new business, which means he is needing space to work. This has resulted in us having to make changes to our living room.
To start with, as you know we live in an old Victorian 2 up 2 down house, which has been extended out the back. The original rooms are not very big, so finding ways to create space and storage has always been a problem.
We recently got rid of our corner sofa, and now have a lovely new sofa. Which I soon made more homely with new cushions. I also purchased an ottoman in a contrasting colour to use as storage, plus a foot stool, extra seating and purchased a tray so can use also as a coffee table. We have also purchased another one, to go under the window for additional seating etc.
One wall has built in shelves that my husband put up years ago and work great. This leaves an alcove bit on one side of the chimney breast. It was just this empty space, which needed something, but we could not find anything that would sit properly in the space.

BGA Store
I was recently contacted by the BGA Store to see if I would like to work with them and review their products. I had a quick look through their site, and definitely found quite a few items, so said yes,

Parma Bedside Table
Looking through the site, we found the Parma Bedside Table, as we also need bedside tables. When the tables arrived, we realised that side by side they would fit perfectly into the alcove in our lounge.
We tried them and they looked great, they sit perfectly, have drawers which I have managed to take control of with my wax melts and tea lights. I have my own little space for my wax burner, photos of the kids and grandkids.
The tables, are very sturdy, and easy to put together (even I managed to do it). I had not thought of thinking out of the box and looking at storage solutions for other rooms in the house.
Would I use them again – Yes I would and have a few items on my radar already.
Have you ever thought of using furniture meant for one room in a different room?

Little changes can make such a big dif to an overall look. I love too that the tables are sturdy. That is very important.

Those bedside tables are really pretty and minimal with the open space by the legs. It goes to show that things don’t have to go in the rooms they’re specifically designed for x

The Parma bedside table is amazing, I really love it and I know it would look awesome in our bedroom.

This doesn’t look at all like a bedside table. It looks very modern and great as a storage feature in that alcove in the living room. I like how you have used the space underneath it as well.
