I was recently asked if I would like to review Bills Restaurant in Farnham. They had recently undergone a refurbishment and reopened.
We decided to incorporate our visit with C’s 16th birthday. For the first time in 4 years she felt well enough to go out and celebrate her birthday with a meal.

The Restaurant
On arrival our booking was confirmed and we were shown to our table. We had a lovely booth where we could sit and chat
As it was C’s birthday, and a special one as she turned 16. We sat discussing her birthday present which is a mini cruise on Queen Mary 2 to Bruges. We chose this as she will be able to rest up and have a day in Bruges.
Once we had made our choices we chatted with our drinks. I had a white wine and my husband chose a ginger beer while C chose their Oreo Milkshake
According to the milkshake expert it was amazing.
Our meals
C opted for their buttermilk chicken burger with added cheese and bacon. Which is a crumbed chicken breast, creamy coleslaw , chipotle mayonnaise, beef tomato in a sesame bun and fries.
Her face when she saw it made us laugh, the burger was enormous. But freshly cooked and tasted great.
Both myself and my husband chose the eggs benedict, which is two poached free range eggs, Wiltshire ham and hollandaise served on a toasted muffin.
the only difference was I opted for sweet potato fries instead of normal fries. We are quite the experts on eggs benedict and this was one of the best I have had recently.
Time for dessert
We knew before she made her choice that C would choose the Warm Triple Chocolate Brownie. Which is served with with warm chocolate sauce, vanilla ice cream & a chocolate flake.
I opted for the Lemon Merginue Pie in a glass, Which is Bill’s lemon curd cheesecake and lemon sorbet on a crushed biscuit base topped with Italian meringue
My husband opted for the chocolate and hazelnut praline sphere. Which consists of indulgent salted caramel ice cream with chocolate & hazelnut mousse, velvety chocolate sauce & golden pearls.
Our opinion on Bills
The staff were great, all very attentive to customers and keeping an eye on guests to make sure they did not have to wait ages to be served. The restaurant has a lovely friendly and relaxed atmosphere and the menu caters for everyone. One thing that impressed me the most, was on arrival to our table, our waitress asked if we had any allergies. This is something we have never been asked before, but something I feel every restaurant should ask.
While we perused the menus we were brought over a jug of water, which we did not have to ask for. The food arrived hot and freshly cooked to perfection, especially the poached eggs.
I would like to thank the staff at Bill’s Farnham, especially our waitress Iona who did a great job in looking after us.

I don’t think I have heard of Bill’s before but I will definitely be keeping an eye out for one closer to me. It sounds like a great place to visit with family and the food looks amazing! That chocolate sphere looks SO good too!
We had not eaten in them before, but will be again the chocolate sphere did look good I wasn’t allowed to try it x
Bill’s sounds like a fab restaurant. The food all looks absolutely delicious. That eggs benedict has my mouth watering!
I do love eggs benedict and have had some horrible ones at times, but this was one of the best I have had will definitely have it again
I love Bill’s and we have visited the restaurant many times as totally love their food selection. I have never ordered the Oreo Milkshake before and this will be on my must-try list the next time I head to Bill’s

We had not tried Bill’s before this but this will not be our only visit we were very impressed with the service and the food x
It is always good to get out and about. We do love to visit restaurants for a nice dinner out xx

I love bills but I’ve never had a milkshake from them and that looks great. I always tend to be a creature of habit and go for the same thing every time x
The milkshake did taste as good as it looks, this was our first visit I can never eat too much at lunch and the eggs benedict was perfect and cooked great. I do want to go again as there is so much more I want to try
I’ve heard such good things about Bills and would definitely love to visit at some point . The food looks so good!

Oh wow, the buttermilk chicken burger with added cheese and bacon sounds wonderful, I’ve not had breakfast yet and could quite easily have that as I’m really hungry after seeing this. The desserts sound amazing too.
It did look amazing she couldn’t finish it all which I know I wouldn’t have been able too either x

I’ve never been to a Bill’s restaurant, but my sister loves them. Her birthday is coming up soon so I may use it as an excuse to try them out!

It is a lovely place to go with family or friends the food was amazing and the triple chocolate brownie was apparently amazing although she didn’t offer me a taste, and thank you just got back from her birthday surprise
Everything looks so good! The Oreo milkshake is to die for. I would also love to try that Lemon Meringue Pie in a glass! Yum!

Those desserts look amazing. Glad to hear the food was good and staff was attentive and friendly. I love they asked for allergies. I have some and I would appreciate this a lot!
The fact that they asked about allergies as we were being seated really impressed us, that is something you rarely get x

Sounds like a great place to spend a special time. Aside from delicious food, service is one of the key I am always after too and same reason for me to come back to a food place. Great review!

The chicken burger was great can thoroughly recommend, I went for the eggs benedict as I am very familiar with them, and this was pefection thoroughly recommend going if you get a chance
