Today is Wednesday again, and only two days until the weekend where we can relax. Somehow Friday can not come quick enough for me. This means it is time for my mid week weekly catch up Ramblings Of A StressedMum – 12/06/2024.

Health
C is now fully on her new medications, apart from one which although I have tried to get hold of locally, I think I am going to have to send the private prescription to a chemist in Scotland. She is really struggling now, her migraines are full force pain. Then she is so fatigued and really fighting off a crash. Luckily she is only in for two lessons today and one on Friday. Then she breaks up and not back until September. So she can really rest up, as I think her body is just going to make her.
I had my breast clinic appointment on Sunday. We were there hours, but thankfully the mammogram was clear. I asked about what the problem in and was told. One side of your body absorbs pain, which can then make your breast feel swollen. I told her it does not feel swollen it is swollen you can see it. So I contacted my GP again, as am now even more positive it is an infection. Was told to take naproxen and it will go down. When I said I can feel it spreading down one side to my groin. She said about maybe thinking of a groin scan. I could have cried as it is not spreading up but spreading down.
Not to be defeated, I have been googling and found some natural antibiotics. Which maybe is the wrong thing. But 3 weeks in I am desperate, and can not take naproxen all the time.
The Noisy Fivesome
Winnie has settled in very well, it is like she has always been here. We will have had her two weeks this coming Friday. Pippy has always been the boss, although she plays with the others. If she is on a mission they all get out of the way. Apart from Winnie, who sits there, which is so funny and Pippy is like what is going on.

It has been a busy week. Sadly garden relaxers are out of my budget
Oof. I hope C’s migraines are taken care of soon. I get them from time to time, and they flatten me. I can’t imagine having them ALL the time.
We are hoping that this new treatment will help it does affect her and so horrible for me as a Mum not to be able to do anything about it
