Something, that is close to my heart is looking our mine and my families mental health. I have learnt it is something we all suffer with on various levels, no matter who you are. Children seem to be suffering more these days as well. I found that reading books that helped explain anxiety etc, and offered ways to help. Was a huge help to my Daughter. Which is why I have been loving reading DOSE. Which boasts a personal prescription for a happier life and 52 science based ways to get it. Plus read on for my DOSE – The 52 Project Giveaway.

What is the 52 Project
The 52 Project is the brain child of professional coaches Dulcie Swanston and Ian Price. They wanted to combine their skills, knowledge and experience. To create something positive while we were all going through the Covid Pandemic.
It all started in 2020, when Dulcie had an idea which turned into the 52 Project. Every Friday throughout 2021, they shared a science based wellbeing tip on Instagram.
DOSE
DOSE recently launched, aimed to simplify wellbeing by providing tips that cost you little of your time.
What does DOSE stand for?
D is for Dopamine
O is for Oxytocin
S is for Serotonin
E if for Endorphins
The book is rooted in science, based on the four chemicals with superpowers that occur naturally in our bodies and are responsible for a lot of our mental and physical health and wellbeing — dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin and endorphins.
Each tip aims to trigger one of these chemicals, with suggestions including taking a cold shower, drinking beetroot juice and walking barefoot.
The book is now available to purchase from your local book retailer or Amazon here.
My Thoughts
I only received the book yesterday, what I love is that with each tip you learn the science behind it. Which to me makes a lot of sense. I found reading the science behind it made it much easier to understand. My daughter is desperate to read it once I have finished it.
I also love that the tips are simple such as keep smiling or treat yourself to name 2.
The giveaway
If you would like to have the chance to own a copy of DOSE. I have two copies too giveaway. See below on how to enter, making sure you read the terms and conditions and complete ALL mandatory sections.
