The Artisan Olive Oil Company Review

Over the years, I have learnt that using quality ingredients in my cooking and on my food is important.  No matter what your budget is it is always important to get the best of what you can afford.

I have recently teamed up with The Artisan Olive Oil Company, to review some of their products and offer a giveaway to my readers.

About The Artisan Olive Oil Company

The Artisan Olive Oil Company are based in London and are an importer, wholesaler and distributor of award winning olive oils and Mediterranean foods and ingredients. Being passionate about tasty and healthy natural products they find rare products from small artisans who share their passion for quality and taste.

Diliberto Fiordidrupa Primizia Extra Virgin Olive Oil

extra virgin olive oilDiliberto Fiordidrupa Primizia is an early harvest Italian cold extracted low acidity extra virgin olive oil. Produced in the Centre of Sicily by the Diliberto family, it has a medium to intense green fruity profile with a spicy finish. It is ideal for tomato and rocket salads, grilled meat, carpaccio and tuna.

Diliberto Mille 900 Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

organic olive oil

Mille 900 is a mild organic extra virgin olive oil produced in the Centre of Sicily by the Diliberto family. It is highly versatile and can be used on most dishes from fish and seafood to salads. Mille 900 is cold extracted and filtered to preserve its taste and flavour.

Moulins Mahjoub Organic Artichoke and Sevilla Orange Chutney

artichoke and seville chutney

The Moulins Mahjoub organic artichoke and Sevilla orange chutney is prepared as a tribute to the sweet and savoury flavours of the Mediterranean cuisine. The Sevilla orange variety is renowned for its sweet aroma, so much so that it is used to produce orange flower water. Orange and artichokes are a classic Tunisian pairing.

Recommended  with a cheese platter, chicken dishes or couscous.

My Opinion

We love using olive oil in our house and have olive oil and extra virgin olive oil in at all times.  I have used both of these and they taste amazing and nicer than our usual brand.  I was a little sceptical about the chutney as not a huge fan of artichokes although I do eat them.  On trying the chutney it had a lovely sweet flavour and the orange came through beautifully, you then get a very slight spicy kick that is just right and not over powering.
