As you know by now Tuesday is Life In A Lockdown Linky day, where since the beginning of lockdown I have been taking part and sharing my week with you. We answer a set list of questions.
It is lovely looking back on how different things were and how we all adapted to lockdown life, and then slowly coming out of lockdown.
I am away this week, so have written my post early.
If you want to take part in the linky the questions are
1) How are you feeling/coping?
As I mentioned above, I am actually away this week, we are on a road trip and headed to the Lake District with friends. We are staying in a different area each night and exploring by day. I am so excited, I visited the Lake District many years ago for a day trip and have always wanted to go back.
I am going to try and do a daily diary, which will probably be shared over on my Instagram account, but will be sharing our trip when I return.
Although C is not coming with us, and I will be talking to her every day, it will be nice to just have a week away where I do not have to constantly be watching clocks. Plus she will be thoroughly spoilt by my parents
2) What have you been up to over the past 7 days?
Packing for the trip and arguing (not got this far yet, but we always argue when packing to go away). I have no idea what I need to pack, as the weather could change. So am going prepared for warm weather and cold and wet weather. We are then setting off at 7am (apparently) on Saturday for our nearly 6 hour trip to our first stop.
3) What is your favourite post of the past 7 days (it could be yours or someone else’s)?
I am leaving this one blank this week – sorry
4) Do you have any plans for lockdown easing?
Last week I saw my mother in law for the first time in ages, and took her to see my grandkids which was lovely. Plus we have this trip we are currently on, and a few meet up with friends in the coming months fingers crossed
5) What have you bought this week that others might like? (Especially if from a small business.)
I have been very good and not bought anything this week
6) What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?
My family and having my Nanny cuddles
7) What would you like the future to know about life during a pandemic?
Never take life for granted, be grateful for the little things
8) Anything else you would like to mention?
Keep on going, take one day at a time and we will get through this
