Here we are at Tuesday again, which as you will know by now is time for my Life In A Lockdown Post. Can you believe we are into week 28. When I started taking part in the linky at week 1, I never realised it would still be going on.
Also as it is October I am taking part in the Blogtober Challenge. It is a challenge that Bloggers take on to write a post every day in October. Today I am incorporating todays post with my life in a Lockdown post.

1) How are you feeling/coping?
I have not been coping well, due to C and her illness, it will be 3 weeks tomorrow since we had her Neurologist appointment, and still no letter. Despite me ringing daily chasing and also trying to get a message to her Consultant following an urgent appointment with Opticians.
Plus following a discovery at home on Thursday, am now having to gut C’s bedroom totally
2) What have you been up to over the past 7 days?
I have been out, I met my friend in London and we went for a lovely Champagne afternoon tea and also some shopping. It was lovely getting out and being normal for a change
3) What do you think the coming weeks and months might hold for you (or the world)?
I think we are heading for a very worrying time, as we are also in flu season things are just going to get worse. I think we all need to keep as safe as possible and remember to wear your mask, social distance etc.
4) If you could remind yourself something about this time in years to come what would it be?
Just how different our lives were, no one saw this coming and no one knew 6 months later we would still be going through this. It also made us be grateful for those around us.
5) What have you bought this week that others might like? Especially if from a small business.
Nothing really unless you include industrial rubber gloves and a gallon of disinfectant
6) What is a unique (or not) technique you have used to get you through this time?
Staying home and becomming a bit of a hermit, we used to love our nights out but now very rarely go out.
7) What is something your readers might not know about you?
I tend to switch off and relax in the evenings by playing a few games on my phone. It just helps me switch my brain off
8) What have you been grateful for over the past 7 days?
Updates on my granddaughter and photos of her, always puts a smile on my face, plus a very funny facetime with her
Thank you to
Who have been busy hosting this linky.

Hard to imagine how 28 weeks have gone. This year has flown.
It has flown by
I hope you hear something soon from C’s neurologist. What a worry.
The afternoon tea sounds lovely. It is nice to do normal things and treat yourself at the moment.
Take care and stay safe x
Thank you am still waiting although a letter is now on its way. The afternoon tea was amazing x
I’ve become a hermit too, it’s awesome for the most part! I’m more than happy to sit on the sofa and crochet of an evening!
I hope everyone is feeling a bit better this week! I cannot believe this has been going on for 28 weeks either… what we all could have done in that time during normal times! Sim x
At least with the weather changing people will be happy to stay in x
There’s a lockdown linky? What a fab idea. It really is hard to believe that 28 weeks have sailed by. Where did they even go?! I’m really sorry to hear that it’s not been a good week, fingers crossed things get sorted out with the consultant. #blogtober20
Yes and I have been doing the linky since week 1 and hard to believe we are in week 28. Still waiting on the consultant x
It’s certainly hard to imagine we’re still in COVID-19 times seven months on. I’m probably going to participate in this linky too, but will wait for the prime minister’s press conference later this evening, in which he’ll most likely announce restaurants will be closing completely for two weeks.
It really is hard to believe we are going through all this 6 months on
Love how you are chronicling this time! Be so good to look back on
I have enjoyed it and it is great looking back
I’m so sorry you still haven’t had a letter regarding everything going on with C, that’s ridiculous. However I am glad your granddaughter has been able to put a smile on your face. Thanks once again for linking up x
I finally received the letter today, now the battle starts with getting our GP to write the prescription. It is a total nightmare, but at least we are a little further forward.
We finally received the letter today, now it is the battle with our GP to prescribe the medication. It has been a nightmare battle during this time x
I hope you hear from the hospital soon. I’ve found the struggle to get medical care throughout lockdown quite worrying.
We finally received the letter today, now it is the battle with our GP to prescribe the medication. It is never easy and one battle after the other
Games are such a relaxing way to unwind after a hectic day, I tend to turn up my playlist and indulge in a good book to relax after a busy day
Sounds like a great way to relax and unwind x
Sorry to hear C isn’t doing too well at the moment. It can’t be an easy time for you <3 I'm finding it tough being stuck at home.
For the first time in a long time I am struggling and feeling totally worn down x
I haven’t minded staying in until I am told to. I hope everyone is feeling a bit better this week.x
I think everyone feels the same x
I cannot believe we are in week 28, it is so crazy! I am so sorry to hear you are still waiting for an appointment for C, I appreciate hospital are busy etc but that is far too long to be kept waiting! I am glad to hear you managed to get out and enjoy a little time with friends for an afternoon tea though as that sounds lovely! x
It is scary we are in week 28 and still going through it. We finally have her medication and she started it this morning. The aftrnoon tea was amazing.
COVID has been so long – we are going into a higher lockdown, which feel insane to me. It’s hard to cope.
Same here we are now tier 2
I hope you hear back soon and your weeks get better. I can’t believe how quickly the time has gone. I’ve turned into a hermit as well, I don’t have any friends or family locally so especially now with the local lockdowns it’s hard to get out, even if I wanted too.
I think everyone is becomming more of a hermit x
