How To Keep Your Kitchen Looking New

As many of you will know by now, I am desperate to update my kitchen. I do love the design of it, but hate the work tops and the cupboard doors could do with updating as well. Of course if I could knock the whole lot out and start again. I would have an island in the middle of my kitchen, but this is just a dream at the moment. So I am sharing a few ideas on How To Keep Your Kitchen Looking New.

If like me you are stuck with what you have. I have come up with some ideas on how to keep your kitchen looking new.

Replacing Work Tops

This may sound like a big job, but it is the area we use all the time. Which means changing the work tops would make a huge difference to changing your kitchen.

It is always worth going for the best that you can afford such as: –

Granite Work Tops as they would make a great investment

This would probably be my first thing to change when updating my kitchen.

Changing Cupboard Doors

Once you have your work tops in place, changing your cupboard doors will change your kitchen completely. Whether you go for colour, wood this will make a huge difference. Or you can paint your current doors and add new handles to give them a totally new feel.

  2. In these times of penny-pinching I am thinking of keeping the existing cupboard doors and just painting them a different colour and perhaps getting new handles and knobs.

    1. To do what I really want to our kitche will mean gutting it and starting again as I want an Island, but changing the cupboard doors and work top will make a huge difference
