I loved spending time on my bike with my friends

My favourite outdoor activity as a child was going on bike rides.
i loved playing in the woods building dens and hiking in the winter i loved building snow forts and sledging ( i lived in swizerland so snow in winter was guaranteed lol )

Going to my grandmothers who used to live at the small village, we had so much fun playing in the fields, swimming in the lake. Really happy memories.
I loved riding my bike, even though one of my first biking experiences led to me going over the handlebars as I swerved to avoid my cat!

my friends dad was a hippy (greenham common) they used to live in a bus but then got a house in my village and his dad built us a tree house it was amazing and we spent hours up there

As a child I had a long bendy tube that made a noise when swung around in the air. I’m sure it drove the neighbours crazy but I would play with it for hours!

I had a pogo stick which I forever fell off haha but loved it!
Love tag last for hours and so much fun as a group great fun.
I used to love climbing trees for the biggest conkers.
Building dens. We spent hours each day on the site at the end of the road where they had pulled down the old houses.
I used to love building Dens in the garden, and me and my cousins used to play in them for hours and hours!
I loved roller skating when I was younger!

I had a red, metal peddle car that I loved to drive outside that I called Scarlet Flasher. They now sell for silly money so wish I had kept it when I grew up.
Use to love playing sports either in the park or in the back garden. Use have a field by us when we could play football and cricket with our neighbours over the summer months.

My favourite activity as a child was running around with my friends, playing make believe games!

I played a great deal of hopscotch chalked on the pavement. Then there was roller skating (old style) jacks and marbles, pushing a dolls pram. i could go on and on – as you can guess `i am from the older generation but how my grandson would love a scooter !

We didnāt have much but a piece of chalk and some flag stones kept us busy for hours playing hopscotch

I loved playing at the park. Seeing who could get the highest swinging on the swings, feeling sick on the roundabout. We used to polish the slide with our jumpers so that you slid down faster and usually scooted off the edge.

Living in a quiet street where all the kids played together in the street (except on Sundays), we had many games. My favourite was skipping games with a massive rope!
When I was young my parents didn’t let me go far. It used to be riding on our bikes round and round the football pitch and I used to love the feeling of freedom and the wind blowing against my hair. Sadly riding the bike now just doesn’t feel the same

Swimming, everyday after school and all day weekends and school holidays. We all had season tickets for the local pools (our town has indoor and outdoor on the same site) we stayed till the staff threw us out. We would take a pack up and all eat together on the grassed areas. No one ever fell out, we were a range of ages as the older ones had to look after younger siblings.
I used to be obsessed with horses as there was a riding stables down the road and they would constantly be out on rides going past our driveway. Apart from my 1 hour lesson there every weekend the rest of the time I used to ride my bike up and down with my riding hat on. That bike was a horse to me hahaha!
