Fridays is my weekly round up post from Diary Of A Menopausal Mum where I chat about all sorts of things, this will be my last post of 2021. As next week will be Christmas Eve, are you ready. Health
Last week, I told you about my biopsies, well all I can say is ouch I still can not sit down properly and am still in pain and sore, but I think the area is not helping which is why it is taking longer to get better.
Poor C is suffering, we ended up spending the day in A&E last Saturday, you will have seen me mention it in Tuesdays Life After Lockdown post. She is still in a lot of pain and been unable to sit long enough to go into her course. They have been so understanding and let her work from home. I am checking her temperature daily and ordered some tablets from Amazon that have great reviews for abdominal pains which I am hoping will give her some relief (I did a lot of research first).
Work
November and December are always busy months with work. I love working on gift guides as much as I love reading gift guides. There are so many great gift ideas you can find on them. But they do mean a lot of work, and throughout December. You will see, I have been adding to mine with more gift ideas, and still have more I am waiting to add. I have also got a few giveaways that are ending before Christmas, again I love giveaways and giving something back to you all.
Also, I am hoping with both my health, and comfort next week I can start to wind down and prepare for the following week of festivities. I will be checking emails and doing the odd post but hopefully that will be all.
Christmas
This time last week, I was not prepared for Christmas, as it suddenly dawned on me just how close it was. Last weekend I went on an online shopping spree and have everything sorted. Including reminding my Dad he has to sort something for my Mum and me taking control of it. I just need Hermes to actually deliver my parcels, which they decided they could not deliver 3 days ago and still not updating their page.
Also, I have my turkey being delivered on Wednesday, my online food shop being delivered on Wednesday and also treats for my husband and C from Piglets also coming on Wednesday, so if nothing else we will not be going hungry.
I also have presents to wrap, I did C’s the other day but had to stand as could not sit down and my back was killing me. When my Mother said I will leave you to wrap the girls (my grandkids) when I flipped so she is helping. Just have my Mums from us and Dad to wrap as he wouldn’t know where to start, and my Dads from us.

I will be once all my orders turn up Hermes have had them for a week now and not even attempting to deliver. C is still struggling, I am still sore but either used to it or it is getting easier. Hope you are prepared for Christmas and can start to enjoy it

Oh dear, I hope you both feel better soon. Online shopping is great to get you out of trouble, I’ve resorted to doing a bit this year where I wouldn’t normally.
Thank you we will be ok, online shopping is great if the couriers actually deliver which I am waiting over a week of them having two parcels they have not attempted to deliver
God Jul och Gott Nytt År from Sweden. Hope that you will have a tasty turkey, here in Sweden we have ham instead (and a lot more meat). So let’s hope for a relaxed Christmas and a great end of 2021. 🙂

I am looking forward to our treats as well, I am a little more comfortable C is still suffering and has her booster tomorrow which I hope she is not too bad with side effects from. Christmas does seem to have sprung up very quickly this year
Ah! I’m in perimenopause, so I feel ya on all the things. 🙂 I still have a little bit of shopping to do, but luckily my daughter is home from college to help with wrapping!

Good old online shopping, it is so much easier isnt it, even before Covid I was a big fan. I am still waiting for one important parcel!! Happy Christmas.
