Giveaways - Living with A Chronic Illness

Cozi Hoodie Review and Giveaway

As many of you know my daughter C has ME and Fibromyalgia, it is an illness where not only she has to battle with fatigue and pain, along with noise and light sensitivity. She also suffers with body temperature and feeling cold. If you suffer with thee cold read on for my Cozi Hoodie Review and Giveaway.

As a Mum, I want her to be comfortable at all times, and help make her illness as easy to live with as possible. Obviously the medication side we leave up to her Dr’s, but everything else we do ourselves.

Regulating her body temperature, is one of he main concerns, she has

  • warm pyjamas
  • Teddy Fleece sheets and duvets – they are great especially in the colder months
  • Warm fluffy socks
  • Hot water bottles

One thing when she is unable to get up is keeping her upper body warm.  She has dressing gowns but they fall open or get scrunched up.

Cozi Hoodie have the ideal solution,  not only to those with a chronic illness, but everyone who loves to snuggle up and feel warm at home.

We were sent a Cozi Hoodie to review, and it feels so soft and thick, it is a mix between a hoodie and a warm fluffy blanket.  C has been using it for a week now and loves it. She says it is so soft and comfortable.  I call her my little polar bear, especially when she has the hood up as well.  It has made a huge difference to her and I will be purchasing more so she always has one to wear.

  1. I also have ME and Fibromyalgia and totally understand this. I have a big blanket on the sofa to keep warm in, and it always helps if the dog is up for a snuggle. Hard to keep your arms and chest as warm as I’d like in a blanket though, maybe one of these mega hoodies is the way to go!

  2. A blanket from the airline I flew home from Los Angeles with in 2018, very cosy and fond memories of my travels xx

  3. My very tatty fleece dressing gown, its huge and comfortable and has a ridiculous hood

  4. I’ve wanted one of these for ages, perfect for the colder months, normally I just wear my dressing gown

  5. I turn to a red fleece blanket… and snuggle up with that.. only thing is when I get up off bed/sofa…. I am left freezing… this hoodie blanket would be perfect.. I don’t think I’d get dressed ever again.

  6. I have a pretty manky old cardie that I go to when I need comfort. I’d like to try a weighted blanket.

  7. My daughter has EDS, a rare physical illness that causes her constant chronic pain, dislocations, problems with her internal organs, circulatory system and more. As a result she also struggles to maintain her temperature and struggles to get comfortable due to her illness. She has a weighted blanket that she finds an absolute godsend, it really helps to damp down some of the symptoms she has, such as RLS, and the weight of the blanket on her joints, helps them feel supported.

    1. My daughter has borderline EDS so know exactly how your daughter is suffering bless her. I was talking to my Daughter about trying a weighted blanket yesterday and going to look into getting one for her

  8. I’ve got a big grey blanket that’s fluffy on one side and fleecy on the other and it’s SO warm and snuggly and battered and soft. Love it!

  9. I have a furry hoody, but it’s so tatty as my cats love it as much as I do, so we have to share.

  10. I too have ME and find a weighted blanket helps tons with the pain I get in my legs during a flare up.

  11. I also suffer with ME and fibromyalgia. I was diagnosed 11 years ago and I could not live without my hot water bottle. Symptoms can be very painful and along with that comes nausea and stress, I find that the hot water bottle eases the pain a little bit so I can relax. I can relate to your daughter and I hope she is coping well.

  12. We have throws on the back of the sofas and in the morning and at night they are my 3 year old and i’s go to item for a comfy snuggle. We wrap them round ourselves and put the telly on. It’s bliss.

  13. my go to comfort accessory at home is my fluffy socks! Love the sound of these hoodies

  14. I live in a fleecy oversized jumper bit this looks even better, especially on those working from home days when there’s only me here so don’t want to put the heating on.

  15. I have Reynaud’s disease which affects my toes the most. Any way to stay warm really helps; my favourite accessory is my hot water bottle, which lives under my feet in cold weather!

  16. Not really a comfort accessory, but my bed is my best comfort. I love watching a film in a warm comfy bed.

  17. My fleecy dressing gown, only problem is once it’s on I just want to sit and go to sleep

  18. We have a selection of cosy blankets that I love to snuggle under, but we also have an open fire. Nothing is as good for snuggling and relaxing as being in front of that fire.

  19. I have an oversized jumper with bat sleeves I absolutely love and wear around the house

  20. My soft, brush cotton pyjamas and my hot water bottle plus a glass of chilled Chardonnay and a good book.

  21. I have a gorgeous huge fluffy cushion that feels lovely when you snuggle into it and makes you feel better!

  22. My day-pjs – nice warm pjs I use just to chill in the evening when at home as they’re comfy and I can relax and slouch on sofa xx

  23. Having the same illnesses as your daughter I can totally relate. A total game changer for myself was an electric heat pad. I use it all day for pain, heat and it doesnt cost that much to run. I dont know what I would do without it!

  24. I call it my ma mouse! It’s like a house jacket a found a charity shop, I’m sure it’s a massive fire risk, and I look an idiot, but it’s very warm!

  25. I love some good slippers! All year around, although in the winter my go to gadget is the electric blanket.
